Proudly Igbo . Chukwu gozie ndi Igbo . Igbo nation to the world .
You can’t compete personally with an Igbo person and win.
You can’t fight Igbo nation unjustly and win ( check the condition of Nigeria ) .
We are hustlers . We are developers . We conquer. The land of rising sun . The sun will continue to rise .
In all spheres of life , Igbo people continue to grow .

I know it wasn't easy for you to come to terms that an Igbo person was in the news for good, that's why you couldn't resist the temptation to garnish your begrudged compliment with your usual vitriol.

Nice one. It seeems like it's only the Igbos in diaspora that's trying to keep the language alive. I have an uncle in the USA that gave all his children igbo names and made sure they'll understand the language even though they were born and bred there but my neighbours here in Enugu, would rather give their children dog names with little or no meaning than give modern meaningful igbo names.

The worst are those people(especially bankers)that will ask you "why don't you have an English name"? Because all your names are igbo. People should learn to be proud of their culture and stop this inferiority complex.

Impressive! These are the true sons of the soil!

Not the bastards looking for quick wealth through drug trafficking, skull mining, kidnapping, etc... Or the ones looking to burn down their ancestral homes just to spite a sitting president.

Thanks to Chinua Achebe for introducing igbo to the world through things fall apart

I still feel there is more needed to be done about the central igbo more studies and research needs to be done to build the central igbo language to accommodate all the igbo dialects into one unified standard form of writing and reading igbo, I wish Chinua Achebe had done that before leaving

I don't blame that Rev. FR. because igbo domination is like a wide fire.
it'll start little and before you know it, it'll spread all over the place.
so he was only trying to stop the inevitable cheesy
Hehehehe
the blessed tribe
the most intelligent tribe in Africa and beyond
the most successful tribe in Africa.
you wonder why the enemies hates this glorious tribe so much.
it's because you can only hate something or someone better than you.
you don't hate someone you're better than.
but we're used to it, infact it's the major source of our motivation to keep soaring higher like Eagle.
God bless Umu Igbo world wide

Good points....

It is time all parts of Igboland rose above pettiness and narrow-ninded insularity and embrace attitudes and worldviews which would enable the Igbos reclaim their pride of place in Africa and globally....

Language uniformity is a veritable starting point ...

It is curious that we refused to learn from the nuances of a universal language like English ....

English is replete with various accents, dialects and many national and regional variants but nonetheless there is a generally acceptable Queens English which every speaker understands...

The concept of Igbo Izugbe should be embraced by all Igbos as the standard lingo...

The likes of Umeonyirioha, Okonjo-Iweala, Nwankwo, Okocha, Chimamanda and co who who have chosen to do something good with their lives and make NIGERIA proud, we will always celebrate and support.

But those ones who have chosen to become the proverbial prodigal sons and sons of anarchy, like Invictus, Kanu, Evans and co, we will also help facilitate their downfall
