Why are most successful ladies find it difficult to have a husband? I have observed that this is not a regional issues, it's almost everywhere, I guess from my perspective most women especially this successful one are very choosy when it comes to the kind of man they want, I personally don't see anything wrong with that, is okay for for anyone to have their taste. But the issues is some of them are so determine on what they want to the point that age is not longer on their side, but they still wouldn't settle for less, despite approaching early 40s is what I find so absurd Cc Lalasticlala Mynd44 Seun 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Jeon:Most men are confused... They can't make a choice... 1. A successful women who wouldn't see marriage as a means to an end... Wouldn't depend on men... And would therefore take her time, choosing a partner simply for love... Or. 2. A woman who's entirely dependent on you... Sees marriage as a means to an end... Would do anything to get a man, be submissive and worship him as though he's her lord and saviour... 7 Likes 1 Share |

Contrary to your opinion, successful women are not single because they are choosy. Yeah, some may be choosy but the main issue is about the dominant figure in a relationship. Men by nature want to be decision makers, we want to be the one who leads in the relationship. But resources is what gives this power, unfortunately she has it more than you, which in your mind, you could already see that you will always be behind the scene and the second in command. Most men are intimated by such women. Intimated in the sense that they will become 'house husbands' instead of the warrior who leads the pack (his family) as other men. 4 Likes |

Most of you want to be our Alpha and Omega... Until we make our demands... Then it's, "Nigerian girls are lazy and entitled"... You mother depended your father, great! Mine didn't... 2 Likes |

One thing success does to a person is that you'll prefer your own solitude, drama free life. Lots of men (and women) these days are baked for problems even if they don't know themselves. It takes a level of intelligence to be successful, which means successful folks can accurately predict the end game from the beginning for most people, hence they remain single. I know its easier to regurgitate the mantra that educated women are headache, it kind of pushes the mirror away from lots of men to see their shortcomings, but the worse thing any successful person want is to be with someone that doesn't compliment, but instead, worsen and drag their life backwards. In this scenario, to remain single is a preferred choice. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Datboredberri:you can call it low self esteem but to me it's a survival instinct. A man wants his partner to succeed but he still wants to be the MAN. One of the dominant trait of being a man is to be a PROVIDER. Of course, there are some men who are okay staying in the kitchen and being taken care of. But not all men want that. The invert is the same for women. Most women don't care if they don't work for anything but get taken care of by a man. But some want to achieve something. Is that low self esteem too? 3 Likes 1 Share |

Premiumwriter: Women who depend on their man? Not low self-esteem... Rather laziness, entitlement... Survival instinct? Jesus! Her being more successful...It makes you feel small as a man? That's low self-esteem... Because you have to forfeit certain privileges, right? You can't boss her around, the relationship could end and her future wouldn't be compromised... Had it been successful men were half as choosy as successful women, most married women won't be in their marriages today. Women need men more and having a man (ade ori) makes a woman complete. 2 Likes |

[quote author=qwertyboss post=110335729] How is she successful without husband? The right term is financially stable career woman! [/quote Look below at the definition of success. If marriage is not someone's list of achievement, you cannot use that to qualify. I see a lot of young people on Nairaland stating that they dont want marriage but children. So if they reach all desired goals, plus children minus marriage. They are successful. Our Lord Jesus was successful without marriage, because it was not in his life plan. 1 Like

Datboredberri:If you continue on this your opinion, big container will be full of your cry and depression go finally kill you because men will detest you. There was one married woman I corrected about submissiveness but she told that those bible verses are old fashioned because she is successful career woman and like a bread winner in their household and most of her friends (unmarried ones)were giving her advise on what they lack experience on. Las las, the man has left the house for and she is still groaning up till now 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Botking: I think this Chinese lady is puling your legs . If she really wanted a spouse, with all her money she would get one. There are more men in her country than women. She is not desperate. If you think she is desperate, keep talking to her for the next six months. You will see that the lady will not move the relationship any further beyond chatting. 2 Likes 1 Share

Batam:Naso... She wanted a husband... She lost him... So why wouldn't she cry? Plus, the man must be very stupid... She's the breadwinner of the family and he wants her to be submissive? Because? What's his contribution to the family? His pẹnis? Arrogant bastard... She's better off without him... I don't want a husband... I definitely don't want a Nigerian man... I can date them, but I ain't ever getting married to one... What's your advice to lesbians? They get married and live happily... So what's the purpose of a man? Most of you talk about how SUCCESSFUL women are miserable without men... But you can't say why... Is it the lack of companionship? That's cheap... My family, friends... I can even date a sexy chick... Is it kids? Surrogacy, adoption, etc... Is it money? I already got my own cash, lots of it... 1 Like |
