Well, the contaminated fuel caused the fuel shortage across the nation. Not until new export arrived, the queue might still linger on. Unusual under this government 69 Likes 11 Shares |

Station Wagon! Datsun! Nostalgic moments back then when orderliness was a national pride. How PAN( manufacturers of Peugeot) and Volkwagen automobile companies folded up in Nigeria tells a lot how this failed country killed productivity. Meanwhile, corruption have long taken over NNPC. Imagine the NNPC ceding its fuel importation responsibility to proxy companies being runned by cabals under the sitting government. 58 Likes 6 Shares |

MANDIPUTIN: That is Lagos. Apart from the beautiful ambience that matches the 70s look of Lagos, the people trying to buy fuel into their metal gallon container , the police officer and the fuel attendants were speaking Yoruba. Ta lo ni eleyi? is still being said in that exact way it is said during fuel scarcity today, even after nearly 50 years! Methinks the Yoruba Language has not changed at all You can pass their conversation in Yoruba as one done in Lagos today. No difference at all listening to their conversations yet it was 48 years ago! 15 Likes 2 Shares |

For too long, our infrastructures have been neglected. Governments in the past were only good at making cheap food and other luxury available to the masses. We are not in this World just to eat food. This administration has prioritize infrastructure, by the time the ongoing repair of ph and kd refineries are concluded, subsidies and fuel queue will be gone for good. Dangote refinery is also coming on board. One can only hope that the next government ( Whichever party he comes from), will continue in the path of aggressive infrastructure development of the Buhari administration, that is the only way we can have sustainable development.
