Sometimes debutants can make immediate impact. Can prove risky though.

Consider Super Falcon's recent win against CIV. Also remember Victor Moses' debut

Bassey and even Ndah are talents.. They should continue to get invites at least.

I also feel a player like Lookman will make sudden impact. Musa should be playing a role model now and just accept the inevitable.

I personally have no fear about the playoffs.

I think Eguavoen and Amuneke will make a perfect chemistry.

Expect the boys to play to their full potential. Osimhen will be served well. Dennis will be blazing. Moses will be his recent self. With Onyeka, Ndidi's work will get easier.. We will have good workrate in the midfield. And I am comfortable with Aribo playing as AM. We just need the right mix in CB. We are good to go, hoping Okoye will be at his best.

You are right

If the coach can also fit him in as a starter I am also okay by that

Don't forget Ighalo is still in the mix. At his best, he can make a huge difference. He brings lots of experience for a game of that magnitude. The choices are there. I trust Amuneke's input in this regard.

I misread "starter". Thought you said "striker"

Benched Balogun?

Seems the people on here are not feeding us with the right information.

He was only deployed there because Balogun was injured and lacked match fitness.

Abi subzero047 what's the update about this Bassey benching Balogun?

I know you report about them very well most times.

When a Manager has played you in every game since he took over that's Van Bronkhurst. Is that not enough to establish the hierarchy and importance of a player in the team.

Even when Balogun was back from injury first choice was still Balogun other player have got injury and now they are playing together.

He shouldn’t be.
Saudi league doesn’t make sense
Ighalo has lost the pace he had in 2019
We have younger forwards in more competitive leagues.
Awoniyi, Osimhen, Onuachu, Dessers, Moffi.
He’s another Umar Sadiq if you ask me
It would be absurd if they recall Ighalo.
He retired in 2019
Don’t know why he’s still in the discussion mix

When concerns are on defensive duties in the here and now, Omeruo is ahead of Calvin Ughelumba Bassey, the gap is even wide. Yes i said the gap is wide.

I don't know how you guys rate players, maybe your basis for rating might be on league quality, while league quality is a valid basis, it is not the only basis.

After a little study on Calvin and Akpoguma, i saw that they were rightly excluded from the AFCON tourney, Also i saw why Olisa Ndah was on the list despite plying his trade in South Africa.

Calvin is a young player and has shown growth, the potential to be the best is right with him, but we acknowledge the situation with him in the here and now.

For the past Donkey years of where has Omeruo played in the backwaters of Europe essentially.

If he was as my good multiple clubs would have been trying to sign him. Why are multiple EPL clubs after Calvin because he outstanding.

Omeruo was in the Championship with Middlesbrough but couldn't gather any interest, why

Osimhen in played in French League and has gone to Napoli why because he is outstanding.

Omeruo essentially has experience of playing low level backwaters of Europe league football since he started.

Longevity is not quality.

When Ghana comes to Abuja for their return legged match. We should not do this our nice brother good sportmanship blahblah. I'm not supporting being unsportsmanlike, bribing the ref, or anything illegal. Never have never will. But ehhn, if there's anyway we can get the ref or anything to work in our favour make we do am ooh. Even if na panarity or ojoro red card, make we do am ooh. Anyhow, we must win. cool
