The guideline is clear- 24 months so you will no longer be eligible, I'm afraid. Please look out for earlier dates. You can get them. All the best!

I submitted on Monday, February 14th.

Administrative Processing till Thursday, February 17th.

Status changed to Issued today, Friday February 18th.

My brother (Nigerian citizen) will Wed his fiancee (American citizen) sometime in December 2022 and I, my three sisters, and my parents wish to attend the wedding in the US. A friend informed me that the closest available date we can secure for a B1/B2 visa is mid 2024. Is it possible to secure any sooner date (perhaps sometime before December 2022) considering that the reason for our visit will happen in December 2022?
Is there any provision made by the US embassy to assist people in our shoes?

Can someone please advise us on what to do?

I think you should keep the appointment date for them both for now cos no dates for IW yet.

He can pay for just his mum...and try to book an IW appointment for her alone...He doesn't have to cancel till then...

Yeah this what I was thinking… new appointment, new ds160 and start hustling IW date, while leaving current appointment intact

I am convinced there is an issue with the current profile I’m using for my parents, as in even regular appointment slots I can’t see even when others can see multiple available slots (today someone was seeing over 60 slots and it was telling me no appointment available at that exact same time). Needless to say I can’t see any IW slots.

Pop up - 'You are qualified to drop your passport at the consulate'.
Selected pick up location.
Next page - 'There is no current appointment'.

I am doing first time for my mum so she can assist me with caring for my twin babies ad a first time mother. I have been denied emergency appointments thrice now. I am hopeful for a closer 2022 date as the date I have at the time I filled her visa is Nov, 2023. Any advice here on how to go about getting her an earlier date will be much appreciated as I am loosing lots of sleep and weight caring for the babies by myself. Thank you.

Please how are you people getting dates for Interview Waivers? I have been checking for about two weeks now, and I can't see a date to book drop off.
Also, does anyone know if submission can be done by proxy? I want to submit for an elderly relative that's out of town.
