she is now playing in Germany. German league is not on break which is why she and Patricia George couldn't make it.

Well I don't agree with their deductions .

And what unit of measurement did they use to come to those conclusion.

Then again its impossible to compare different league with the same conclusion.

The technical ability required in the EPL is different from the Bundesliga and La Liga. So at the best it gives a perfunctory insight that's subjective not objective.

There are many attributes that cannot be computer degenerated.

Two of which is movement and technique. Agree with you, brother.

Technique refers to the skill or competence required to perform a function or task.

In football, there are skills required to execute it. Some of these includes:
First touch,
Passing,
Shooting,
Dribbling,
Holding on to the ball,
Marking,
Slide tackle,
Stand tackle, etc

The combination of these skills and the accuracy of their execution will determine a player's gradation in technique.

Take for instance Ndidi. You said he is the player with the best technique in S.E. How well are his passing, shooting and dribbling. Ndidi is great at short passes, but what about his non-existent long passes even as a midfielder, How is his dribbling and shooting. Ejuke has the best technique in the current crop, his long passes have the accuracy of 83%.

Remember, it is the techniques you bring to your game, the frequency of their execution, and the accuracy of their execution that determines how you are graded technically.

Dribbling is more of skill than technique.

Odegaard and De Bryune are two of the best technicians in England but aren't proficient dribblers.

How you dribble determines your technique, not if you can dribble.

Anyone know why onyinyechi Zogg wasn't invited for the ivory Coast encounter?
Onyinye Zogg had her contract terminated and was clubless for a while. She recently signed for a new club.

Both Zogg and Ariyo have had club issues. Ariyo for instance was clubless for quite a while. She however signed for Tenerife but wasn't getting playing time. I stand corrected, but she didn't even feature in a game before leaving. She again was clubless before signing for Real Betis. She also hasn't featured since her signing. Zogg has also moved between a couple on clubs lately. Now in Germany but she currently isn't better than those we have in the team. She's naturally appealing to most fans but no be "fine girl" we dey use play football

The way you rate Europe born players above Nigerian born players is a combination of extreme racism and tribalism..

If you were in charge of any sporting federation in Nigeria... You will create an apartheid system,

I fight racists and tribalists like you with my own version of tribalism..

In a country like Nigeria, tribalism is very important...

Most Nigerian politicians don't engage anyone in any discussion, don't resort to tribalism because if they were tribalists Nigeria will be very developed, they don't evade facts , they don't do infantile name calling and they don't tell bare faced lies, they just assume and think they are talking to dull people..

which is the same way you talk to people on this thread, you assume everyone on this thread is dull and lack intelligence. you are condescending towards people on this thread which makes you a racist and tribalist. You are condescending towards Nigerian born and raised players which also makes you a racist and tribalist.

You are the one who typifies the Nigerian politician all wind and fresh air no substance.

Any Nigerian that doesn't support and highly rates Nigerians born and raised in Nigeria is a basta:rd..

and should never accuse Nigerians that support Nigerians born and raised in Nigeria of tribalism...

What a smackdown!

I think we might have no choice than to recall the former eagle captain Mikel Obi to fill up the Vacuum of our midfield with his vast experience as well as spearhead the team to success at Qatar 2023

A fit balogun was on the bench during Celtic vs Rangers And Aberdeen vs Rangers

That doesn’t mean bassey is benching him sha ,balogun is 34 and injury prone so small rotations no bad

From the day Van Bronkhurst became Manager he always plays Calvin Bassey first even when Balogun is fit.

The only time Calvin was benched was for inconsequential cup games.

That's what I said na, there is a reason I said 'fit' if you check well those were his first matches back from injury and he started the next match against Hearts, Bassey is Rangers 4th choice CB behind Goldson, Helander and Balogun

You are wrong.

There are players who over riding influence in a game but it can not be quantified into a unit of measurement.

For instance when Lukaku is playing the CB are not keen to come Forward and are not able to join the midfield in going forward.

When Lukaku gets the ball he can take out 4 players giving space for other players to thrive. You have similar with Adama T.

I have already posted a few screen shots to substantiate the position.

Giovanni Van Bronkhurst became Manager of Rangers on the 18th of November 2021. It's quite remarkable because under Gerrard Calvin was about 3/4 in line for CB.

Immediately Van Bronkhurst made Calvin first choice CB, Calvin had not been dropped once he has played every league game .

Meanwhile Balogun even when fit is not first choice CB . although Calvin is more versatile as he can play as a LB as well.

When Van Bronkhurst was made manager, Balogun was injured only Goldson and Calvin Bassey were the available center backs, when Balogun recovered he took over from Bassey the screenshots you posted made it very clear the matches Balogun were on the bench and Bassey playing were Balogun's first matches back from injury, if you scroll further down you would have realized that Balogun started the next matches
