Gentlesoul3268: Don’t provide your BVN to anyone. All you need is your name and passport number. You can try any other insurance companies. So many insurance companies outside there that you can buy travel insurance from. |

Good morning and special thanks to those taking time to reply others. God bless you all. Please help with the following: I have a valid 5 year UK visa. I already booked (and paid) for a ticket to London for Easter holiday. I want to do a 4-day trip to Paris from London and plan to go by Train (2 hours plus). 1. Is it sufficient to state this without evidence of flight booking or is it a must to include flight booking or training booking? 2. Do i need to include my flight ticket to London in the application? 3. I will like to use the Visa again in September. Which Visa type should I apply for that will cover the trips in April and September? I already made hotel reservation (Paris) and I have valid Canadian Visa. |

1. Its not sufficient just to state your plan, it should be backed with an unpaid flight or train reservation. 2. Yes , you should include that . If you can do a multi city routing to accommodate your plans - LOS - CDG- LHR- LOS or LOS- LHR- CDG- LOS. Your Choice. 3. A short stay Tourist visa -Request for that in your Cover letter ,explain in simple terms that you would need visits in April and September.. 4. Attach in the necessary Documentation, the list is endless. Wiseadebiye: 1 Like |

mamawa123: It is not refundable. It is clearly written on the appointment paper. However, it can be re-scheduled as this is stated clearly in the appointment paper also. |

I’m sorry your visa application was rejected, you have the option of re-applying or appealing to the decision... but your own case was totally difference as the visa officer didn’t mention the reason for rejection and no document stating the reason for rejection. Remember I told you that it’s 50/50 chances when its comes to Schengen tourist visa especially if you are not a frequent travelers. Please don’t rush by making another visa application at the moment, you may go ahead and appeal but there is no guarantee on the time scale of the appeal process as immigration-related matters can take longer to process. Meanwhile you can start looking for a business conference for July and August. Donbaba123: |

Guys pls i need an answer on this i am going for studies,My main school is in germany but i will be starting as an option in france to finish in germany as my school partners with the one in france...All my documents for visa application came from France except for my tuition fees issued to me from my main school in germany with it's name there but was written in partnership with the one in france....Now on the school fees receipt my program end date written there is for the one in germany not the one in france because i am to spend only 1yr in france and then move to complete in germany the remaining 6 months...so now on my cover letter for visa Am i to indicate that i will spend one year in france and then move to germany to complete on the end date wriiten on my tuition fees receipts or is it going to complicate things for me as someone is saying that the embassy will feel that i want to use france and go into germany.....I NEED help on this issue pls...it's urgent |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 7:11pm On Feb 20, 2022 |
Hello Iwuchineme 1. You are staying longer in France so you have to go through France. Campus France would not attend to you atall if you were to apply through the German Embassy. 2. Your Cover letter: Pick a Paragraph to explain this to the visa Officer in very simple English language. Alot of Students do such interchange every year within the Schengen region. |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Gentlesoul3268: 7:23pm On Feb 20, 2022 |
Since there's documents to back it up that you will first spend 1 yrs in France and 6 month in Germany no problem and also you need to explain everything in details on cover letter. Sorry bros I can feel your pains, God will do it this time around for you and everyone of us Amen Iwuchineme: |

Iwuchineme:Please if I get you correctly you said you will be going to 2 schools, does it mean the programme is an Erasmus programme? If yes, how much did you pay for self funded? |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by EarthChild: 8:07pm On Feb 20, 2022 |
The embassy requested 3 months bank Statements but why do you wanted to submit more than 3 months? Please don’t over “DO” Gentlesoul3268: |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Kajolplus: 8:22pm On Feb 20, 2022 |
mamawa123: It is risky to wait for 48 hours because of processes it involves. Appointment re-schedule is done by French Embassy not VFS but u av to send a mail to VFS first. VFS will give you embassy email. Having received embassy email frm VFS, u will present ur matter by sending a mail. |

Hello it's not erasmus...My school just have an option of starting in france then finish in germany or start from greece and finish in germany...so i picked france now i need help on how to put in that my program ends in germany with the date written on my tuition fees receipts because it's been issued from my main campus in germany but has in partnership with the school in france written on it...Thanks... johnsonm2g: |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Kajolplus: 8:34pm On Feb 20, 2022 |
Gentlesoul3268: Schengen rule says "minimum last 3 months" but d rule never mentions "maximum" (meaning, u can submit frm 3 months upward). I av submitted 1-year as well as 6-month SOA and embassy never frown @ it. In summary, submittion of 3 to 12 months SOA is within d acceptable range. I stand to be corrected pls. |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Iwuchineme: 8:36pm On Feb 20, 2022 |
Yeah all my visa application docs for studies came from france except the course fees receipts which was issued from germany as the main campus but my program end date written there is for when i will be done generally in germany not when i will be done in france...It's written July 2023 but i will be done in France in Jan 2023 then move to complete....How to explain that in cover letter is what i am confused about Beverlyhills: |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 9:06pm On Feb 20, 2022 |
Simply state it the same way you just did here and state why you choose france to Greece. Your duration of stay in France - 1 year and 6 months in Germany for Completion. Short and concise. Draft something and post it here , we are here to assist you modify it if need be. Keep out personal details. Iwuchineme: |
