Subzero47:There is only much we can do for him. No be him papa get nff. He is 24 yet he has not gotten his career bearing. He is not the only person that was promising at a young age. Boya the coach should look for another tactic other than this him long ball. he has played in every age grade team since his u-17 yet he is still not stable. Nff sef don try for am now. Hopefully he gets his career on track but till then he should be excused for better players. We have players scattered in Europe that offer his skillset. The scout should comb around wella. Even oliseh dey play long ball. Na how many times him call nwakali?. Zero.. we should not keep wasting squad space on an 'e go better' player. 6 Likes |

Offsides per game this season in comparison to Osimhen Osimhen:0.5 Halaand: 0.5 Lukaku: 0.8 Ronaldo: 1.0 Salah: 0.5 Mane: 0.5 I can go on.. That narrative is an exaggeration from just one game. Make una calm down. You are not Napoli. Osimhen will not lack suitors and Napoli will not sell him easily. drDoom3: 9 Likes 1 Share |

zuchyblink: Aboubakar was an outstanding player before he went to Saudi Arabia proven, tested and consistent. It was his exploits that got him to Saudi Arabia on CRAZY money £££$$$$€€€€. He did not drop I quality his quality remains he is just getting paid a lot more. But when you have been playing all your career in backwaters league it's a reflection of poor performance low level quality and inability to rise to a higher standard. Sometimes players drop standard and performance and drop to lower league where they can compete at that level. Ighalo was outstanding in the EPL and on the basis of that performance followed the money £££$$$ to China and following that to Saudi Arabia for even more money. If he wasn't a quality player he would not have been invited to Manchester United. So please keep matters in context and stop this misleading narrative. |

komekn:you are the one with misleading narrative. Some players are late bloomers and may not go to Europe or bigger clubs because of their age. Some are comfortable where they are Aboutrika,Gedo,Hossam Hassan, Hakan sukar, Ahmed Hassan,Rainford Kalaba, weal Gomaa,Ali Maloul,Rashidi Yekini,El hadry and others did not play in big leagues. Does it mean they were not good? 2 Likes |

*COACH FINIDI GEORGE FEELING THE HEAT AT ENYIMBA FC* The glorious unveiling of Coach Finidi George came with so much high expectations as the new gaffer of Enyimba FC Significantly, his status as a ex - international from the vocal and uplifted USA 94 team who are being rated as nigeria's best team in history - rejuvenated the players to be critics in dictating how the game should be played on a bigger stage in almost every aspect of Nigerian football Openly ,with the management giving him a freehand to recruit , adjust and decide team structures- seemingly , with the vocal nature* if it was not rosy with welfare , boost and logistics the world would have known. Unfortunately, it seems Coach Finidi is not fully getting it right based on recent results and rumoured fallout with regular players in the team. Positively, Enyimba FC is Nigeria's most decorated and highest ranked club in the history of African club football and a top brand with high standards Prominently, football goes beyond being a USA 94 celebrity *Can we see a model in the coaching style of Finish George? With 6 wins, 5 loses and 3 draws Enyimba is on 7th position out of the champion league spots Probably ,it's early days ... We are watching @coach uni Dan kakwi

Joebie: Why do we present facts that don't justify your narrative. Look at what you are presenting and the comparison you are making. It actually indicts Victor O it doesn't justify him it says he has not met the expectations, if you add last season it becomes even more concerning. Consider 2021/22 ; Games. Goals. Transfer Fee(£) Osimhen:0.5. - 15 - 6 - 78 M Halaand: 0.5 - 14 - 16 - 20 Lukaku: 0.8. - 17 - 5 - 97 Ronaldo: 1.0 - 22 - 9 - 20 Salah: 0.5 - 23 - 17 - 36 Mane: 0.5 - 22 - 9 - 34 Lukaku is in the list of poor performance and has FLOPPED. However, most will agree for a striker who has been consistently among the top goal scorers in every league he has played for over the past 10 year's. Something is amiss not just player performance. There is no question about the quality of Lukaku but more about the issues ongoing in Chelsea. Yesterday Lukaku touched the ball 6 times against Palace. Something is not right with Tuchel and Lukaku. A player who was the second highest goal scorer in Seria A last season with 24 goals. |

zuchyblink: You clutching at straws. You are taking a different time frame with entirely different dynamics to make a deduction on modern day football today. Then you present disinformation, Yekini is still revered today ,l was at Sporting Braga 6/7 years ago and the Sporting Director was still eulogising about Yekini who was the top goal scorer in the Portuguese league at that time. So please update a download a new operating systems we are using windows 11 and you are still using DOS. You are stuck in ancient history. |

Subzero47: This bare faced double standard and favouritism. The SE us not where you learn you bring what you have learned from consistent outstanding quality performance in your club and league. That should be the only basis for selection to the SE. Nwakali has absolutely no business in the SE, there is no merit for his inclusion beyond favouritism Godfatherism and Nepotism. As it stands Nwakali will struggle to get a club in English league 2. That 2 Likes |

Joebie: In all honesty from what I have seen of Sadiq over the years from his abysmal mediocrity at Ranger's to his recent showing in the SE. He will struggle in English league 1. Maybe he need to stay in Segunda Division or the less competitive and much slower and not so physically taxing Spanish football. |

Well said. He needs to also be more efficient in front of goal. The little bit I've watched of him since his return to injury it seems he's always trying to force the issue. It's understandable considering he's supposed to be his club's top marksman, which comes with the added pressure to perform but knowing how to position yourself and when to make good use of your attributes to your advantage is something he still needs to work on. Like Goodjoe posited maybe going to the wings occasionally could help him gel further with his strike partners. drDoom3: 1 Like |

Our top strikers are 1. Osimhen 2. Onuachu 3. Ighalo 4. Sadiq In that order. Awoniyi has slipped a bit while Moffi is out of it. Joebie: |

AndSunGorilla: Mikel situation then, was understandable, he was a rookie, an African, and he can't bench the performing likes of Lampard, plus Lampard was an English Man, Rather than leave him on the bench, bidding his time, Mourinho decides to put him to use, and since he performed very well in that rule, more than the player that occupy same rules, Jose, decide to left him there, BTW, its same midfield, which means Mikel can transit from the rule forward, but for Lampard form |

drDoom3: Actually you have got it completely wrong. The entire team strategy of Lille was centred on Victor O, it was simplistic when you have the ball look for Victor. When he was at Lille he made more sprints than every other player in the entire league. The consistently played to his strengths the ball played in front of or over the top as well as 1 -2s to create space for him to run on to. This is the same problem that Messi is having at PSG where he looks at shadow of his former self. He is not the center of all strategy. It happened to Benteke at Aston Villa as well as with Grealish. This kind of strategy may win you games but it doesn't help the development of the player he becomes one dimensional. When the player leaves that setting, he has to learn a whole new level of technical skill sets in order to fuse with his new team and to have competitive edge. It is not easy and sometimes your not going to get enough time. Finally, the player may not want to change and wants the team to change for him. Management may decide then to sell you before it becomes obvious that you have major handicaps. 1 Like 1 Share |

Joebie: That's because no one in Serie A plays a high line against Napoli. It backs up my point earlier that the league is helping him conceal the poorer parts of his game which will hurt him in the long run. It is not an exaggeration or just a fluke, there have been flashes for a while now. |

drDoom3: People call it HATE. But when Victor was at Wolfsburg I could see why he was not getting game time. He was technically and tactically naïve. He did not have the knowledge base to jump straight in and compete. It's in that context I said he would struggle at most academies in England. I felt a move to a lesser league where his main attributes of speed and agility and as a true 9 he will have more success. That has happened but those handicaps are getting a bit more exposed now. He has to learn, but for a £75 million player it may be strange to some. 3 Likes 1 Share |

komekn: https://eaglestracker.com/2022/02/20/sadiq-umar-goals-vs-mirandes/ Wow. What abysmal finishing to score a rocket from over 20 yards. Such a player cannot even succeed in English league two, let alone league one. The second goal was even the worst, what a poor chip from the edge of the box on his weaker foot. He should have used more power in the chip like Premier league quality strikers do. He is such an embarassment to not only Nigerian football, but footballing history in general. Maybe with his height he may succeed in basketball, although it is highly unlikely because he always falls like a bag of beans anytime breeze blows him. 13 Likes 1 Share |

komekn: Wrong. He was good enough to easily get game time at Wolfsburg, he was just unlucky. As much as I complain about Victor he is still way above most other strikers his age technically. Physically he is a monster and that is mostly enough to succeed. However, if you want Haaland or Mbappe levels you need more and that is only where I feel he can do better because he has the potential. 3 Likes |

Truidstar: Go and look at Elijah Adebayo , Luton Town top goal scorer with 12 goals. See his physicality. When he was at Fulham's academy I knew him more as a technical player. But the speed of the game in England makes managers frown at unnecessary dribbling and showboating. More so at Luton Town quintessential English football team. |

charlesemeka85: The bolded is one of the biggest challenges in managing a club. The club management plays a big role in insisting the coach holds the power and let the players know results will not force their hands to drop the coach. Then the coach should have the power to kick out the bad eggs and replace them with players of his choice. Time will tell but the management of Enyimba needs to get this right. |

I don't think you understand, coming from Niger local football scene you will have a lot to learn. The reality is our so called excellent Coaches according to some , simply will not teach you . |

drDoom3: I want to presume you are not familiar with professional football academies. One of my friends a former footballer came from Nigeria and l took him to a EPL Academy to watch the U11s and then the U15s he was SHOCKED at the level of technicality at that age. He is extremely aggressive he is not a physically dominating player, he is not that strong like say Anichebe of old. |
