I applied to U of Regina too but no response from them yet.

When did your spouse apply and when did they respond?

Jacklens:
Good morning, friends!
Thanks to everyone/gurus for taking time to share and educate us - the newbies.

I need advice:
- My spouse has been offered admission in university of Regina. Fall 2022
- Annual tuition is approximately $20,500 (B.Ed)
- Class resume end of August, 2022.
- Required tuition deposit of $500
- Yet to apply for study permit and visa, pending reply/response from the house.
- Spouse intend to leave with 3 kids same time.
- I will also be applying for visitor's visa to accompany, settle them, before returning to my regular work in Nigeria.

Please, can our learned friends advice me if i should apply for everyone at the same time; or defer the kid's application till the mother secures her visa?

You can search "GCMS Notes" or "GCMS Canada" on google and choose from the numerous ones you want to use. I have populated below three different alternatives you can choose from.

1. GET GCMS

https://www.getgcms.com/

2. THEGCMSONLINE

https://www.thegcmsonline.com/

3. Just For Canada

Contact your bank, they will send it straight to IRCC.. (This depends on the bank though)

At the same time, they give you the Ticket ID and Password, you will have to submit this with your application..

Peace

'In general', a VO shouldn't claim a course is not valuable. You are probably overthinking, lol.

I would like to ask:
1. Why did you apply for a BA again when you already have a BA in English (I assume)? Why not an advanced degree?

2. Have you applied for study permit already?

they are business courses under the bachelor of art program in the school I applied for, like economics, labor studies, business management, global political management . Those are the ones I put my mind on to us to buttress my point.

You make these choices after you are in the BA program.” this is choice was given

Well, that's what LOE is meant for. You have the opportunity of convincing the VO about your decision for the course.

Best of luck!

Hello Guys
Thank you so much for your inputs and all...
I have a question and I would really love all contributions.
My Visa was refused as a fully funded student( would still have like 11,000cad after school fees is removed)

I intend to reapply but this time my pastor who is also the ceo of an energy company( msc is in energy) wants to support my application.

He intends to give me employment to start in January as I was last employed as a digital marketer in april 2021 and allow the company support me. I.e he intends to show the companys bank statements, cac and all.

I do not want to complicate my application as I am totally dependent on my funding.

Please i need opinions on how to go about this.

Your submission here is totally erroneous and misleading @Papapa1234. If you don't have any meaningful contribution towards the poster's worries, why don't you hold your peace than type gibberish here. Are you the arbiter of courses that are relevant, and those that aren't? Why are courses in humanities— both in local and foreign curricula— taught in schools, if they have lost their relevance? Let's always think about what we post on public spaces as people that are presumably educated.

I rest my case.

I definitely obeyed the rules. I am a lawyer by profession so integrity is very important to me. Even after studying there, I still have Valid tourist Visa for both countries on my passport including Schengen Visa as well and I included them in my application. I however changed my name twice, from my maiden name to my spouses name then back to my maiden name. I included the affidavits, news paper publication and order absolute from the court as well. Maybe they are worried because of my place of birth/state of origin (Northeast Nigeria) Lol
Since you have schengen visa if you have travelled to schengen zone Canada don't have the information,As Canada don't share immigration biometric data of foreign nationals with schengen states but they will consult European commission /schengen states (VIS) for the information ..this may cause delay in processing ..

We all know Science & Tech is topping but world rn. @Papapa1234 are you trying to tell the poster that courses like ( Human culture,Music Buisness, Performing Art business, Visual Art presentation etc) is Irrelevant in the world rn? Good morning,
Was your application refused based on financial status only? Did you request a GCMS note to see the exact reason for Denial? Well, if it's finance I think you could include more funds, I have a scholarship too but still submitted my bank statement and all.
About your pastor's company supporting you, it depends on how much the company has and you should be able to prove to the VO that the company needs your skills to spend so much money to send you to Canada, it has to be reasonable.

Here is what I think, let's hear what the others have to say.

Would you advise he does a gift deed only or ...
I just need all advise I can get.
I have ordered for my notes and awaiting it.

New portal

They only showed the details of the boimetrics did like my number, date of enrolment and expiry date

There was nothing like biometrics done.

Did you receive any mail regarding your completed biometrics on your portal?

Atigba:

Did you apply with the new portal.

I made application 28th January and did biometric 8th February.

Few seconds after my biometric, they updated my page to....BIOMETRIC DONE.

A Bachelors degree holder going for another Bachelors degree, there is a very high chance of a Visa Officer seeing this as a red flag cos there is no academic or career progression in this path you wanna follow.

As a degree holder, you are expected to go for something higher, e.g a Masters in English or related field (if you have a 2.1)
or
a PG.Cert program in English related field e.g Journalism etc. Or a PG.cert program related to your work experience (which might not be English studies related)

Think about this well before you proceed with your Study Visa Application

Await more inputs from other members of this platform

Good morning guys, (Makano, Frank, Anon123, Ketima)
Pls i need your advice on something. My international passports which i submitted scanned copies of while applying 1st December shows series of trips to Dubai. Ive been to dubai about 20 times in the last 10 years. My last trip was January 2020. I have a personal unregistered business which i started when i left banking in 2012. I still continued the business when i got another job in 2014. I havent travelled again since 2020 January because covid came and slowed down the business.
Pls im just thinking that the VO may be wondering why i have made so many trips to dubai. In my LOE i stated that i started a small business when i left banking but i didnt indicate that its an international business and that i made so many trips to dubai. Pls do u think thats a vital information to share with the VO. Pls also recall i am the same person that had to raise webform and send emails for the previous UK and USA refusals when i was single and one USA refusal in 2010. Pls i am thinking of raising another webform to explain these frequent dubai trips. DO u think its necessary.

Pls assist me with your response
