KellyKk: Hmmm, i understand how you feel. In your first application, did your eligibility review start at all. Also, just to put your mind at rest, i know someone whose reapplication is three months though he told me his eligibility review has started. It's all in God's hands. Just keep praying. |

I salute everyone and especially the experts on the great platform. We shall all be favoured by God's grace. Please I have the following information and questions and shall require answers that can guide in my preparation for study permit application @makano etc. Kindly forgive my manners. 1) I'm a registered Civil Engineer with years of. experience and have worked with multinational before setting up my own company but have applied for 1yr Advance Diploma in Environmental Engineering which the class start May, 2022. 2) I have 4 registered limited liability (construction, Farm, Logistics and Bakery) companies but 1 (construction) is most active with contracts from govts (Local and State). 3) I'm married with a son 4) I have Landed properties. 5) I'm a director to my wife registered business name (enterprise) 6) I have pension cert of my previous place of work including payslips, confirmation Letter and also redundancy letter which was the basis I started my own company. 7) I have a building as Inheritance but with other siblings and I'm the coordinator. I don't pay myself salary in my company but share profits periodically. Here my question; Are the above information enough to support my application especially proof of fund and home ties? What should I include and documents should be removed before submission? Do I required to submit letter of introduction and study leave to be signed by the second director and Secretary? Should I submit CAC for the company or just the active 1? Please kindly guide on what documents I should consider for my application. Thank you Kind Regards. |

My beautiful people. I feel so blessed and privileged to have joined this forum early enough. Right from the first stage of application for admission to the final process of visa application, I was guided, tutored and advised by so many wonderful and selfless people on this forum. Every single thing I know today about the Canadian study application process, I learnt from here. This application is actually for my wife who is a first time applicant but I handled the entire process. Yes, there were times we were tempted to let an agent handle the application but the money that was being quoted was a bit too much for us so we opted out and decided to venture into the unknown by handling the application ourselves. I give God all the glory and honor for it has ended in extraordinary praise. We utilized the NEW PORTAL for the application. I highly recommend using the new portal, it seems to be somewhat faster than using the regular gckey. Our timeline is highlighted below and please note we DIDNT pay any school fees Application Submission - December 31, 2021 Biometrics Completed - January 4, 2022 (updated same day) Upfront Medicals Updated - February 10, 2022. I could only see one 'same day event' here, which is biometric update. And that's possible. The person seemed to have booked medical exam in advance, and the date of his exam was a day before he submitted his application. He could have decided to submit his visa application the same day of the medical exam too, since he had booked the date in advance and he had the choice to submit his visa application any day. Also, if one submits a paper application, one will ideally do biometric the same day. I hope the answer helps. User1010: 1 Like |

Thank you for your response I appreciate it. Does that mean I will take only the 2 kids (American citizens ) when leaving now or after I have gotten to Canada and I apply for the whole family. at what point do they get the study permit I am to apply for. technix: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by technix: 2:37am On Feb 22, 2022 |
You have enough hometies: your spouse and son (assuming they are not going with you now), your companies, landed properties, study leave. You will submit your marriage certificate. You can add the evidence of the active company and your landed properties. You are not required to, but you can add the study leave letter. But I can't find any proof of fund here (you need a statement of account). topsyalooma: |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by technix: 3:24am On Feb 22, 2022 |
Sorry to hear about your experience. For admission, don't include your OND if O'level is sufficient (and your OND transcript isn't ready). But for visa application, include your OND (I assume you have the certificate or statement of result). So, you won't have more than a 3-year study gap even if you haven't been working. The VOs won't go to your school to ask whether you used OND to seek admission or not. Ebukawilson13: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by technix: 3:36am On Feb 22, 2022 |
You are welcome. You can take them when leaving now if that is more convenient. Just mention in your application and LOE that they are accompanying you (and that they are US citizens). But also be sure that the proof of fund you submit covers the required amount for the three of you. Once you land in Canada, at the point where you will be issued your own study permit, you can apply for theirs. The officers will guide you. aamey15: 1 Like 1 Share |

gentleluv: I guess you uploaded your passport when your submission has been reviewed already (i.e. passport details wasn't available when AdB reviewer was reviewing), there is a form A amendment process on the site, click on help to locate it, it'll show you how to amend the form for reconsideration. 1 Like |

pean06: Add more money to the account, that will be sufficient for disbursement, i paid $9292 CAD yesterday which was converted to $7464 USD @ 419/$, that should give you an estimate of what amount you should fund your account with. Also, click on help on the website to see the process for form A amendment and contact your bank, that way your submission will be reviewed, no need to start over again. 1 Like 1 Share

Teemenzo: My first app I don’t think my eligibility review ever started or not because I hardly check my portal . It was when I got refusal mail i logged in into my portal and on my GCSM not eligibility says failed . But I was denied because I didn’t explain source of funds that was the only reason In my note |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Scott99tish(m): 5:04am On Feb 22, 2022 |
Hi Deronke1, Let’s the mathematics… If you say 5million per year, meaning it a 2 year course, Right? IRCC requires a year fund though, subjected that you have a good source of fund. Remove 5million (Tuition fee) from the 8million… Is what you have left equal 13,000 CAD (Cost of Living) ? If not, it is not enough Canada race is more than having money in your account sef. You will show source of your money too. So take your time to get things right… Regards. Deronke1: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by technix: 5:29am On Feb 22, 2022 |
At times, your eligibility review will not show 'started' until your visa is approved. You will just see eligibility review passed. So, don't bother yourself with checking the status. Just keep praying and wait for a notification from IRCC. KellyKk: 3 Likes |

NorthernshoreTS: We have a very similar story. I remember you took a leap of faith by dropping your timeline before approval and I followed suit. My prayer is that every applicant shall get speedy positive response. This good feeling shall go round in Jesus Mighty name. I am specially rooting for Teemenzo, Scott99tish and KellyKk. Quick questions guys; (1) Should I send wifey's passport or wait a little for my son's PPR to arrive? (2) She is supposed to start studies by 6th of May 2022, but we have deferred to September, 2022 for some reasons. At what point do I inform IRCC of the deferral? 4 Likes |
