It's a lie. Tithing is NOT for Christians, it was for the Jews and Levitical priesthood in the old testament - the old covenant. The priests there had no other jobs and were to exculssively work in the Temple. Therefore, they were to live on tithes that were brought to the temple. We are in the new covenant, under grace in Jesus Christ. The Bible commands us to give today, willingly and cheerfully as God has blessed us(2Corin. 9:6-9), NOT tithe. All Christians today are a chosen generation, a Royal priesthood (1Peter 2:9).

Is it not the same money these pastor use to buy private jet and servicing airport hangers for the jet?
