NkanAkpanika:Very impressive. Unfortunately there is a no go area between most of the rest of Nigeria and Akwa Ibom so most of us will never get to see or experience this good development. Nobody wants to get shot by terrorists! Rather frustrating for a governor to be doing well to attract growth only for efforts to be hampered by the actions of others. 1 Like |

silverlinen: Nigeria is a poor country. If anyone tells you otherwise, don't take him seriously. Just one state in America, like Maryland, has a budget bigger than Nigeria's federal government's budget. With or without corruption, Naija never reach to build world-class projects. Make we dey abuse the adjective ultramodern for now. 3 Likes |

Worldphaxxy:Why would they pad the budget, then half the money to make a substandard road? It just doesn't make sense. There are roads from ten years ago in akwa ibom that is still standing, no fear of raining season. Those roads were created with the best materials. I'm just saying, why can't they just do it once instead of Making a substandard road and repairing it over and over again just for some rubbish PR. 4 Likes |

NkanAkpanika:He was killed by local cultists.. Uyo is a beurifull city but just like any other developing city, it has its challenges.. They kidnapped him and asked him for hundreds of millions of naira. His family sold everything and paid millions. The lady that contracted the job to the hoodlums was even someone he was helping in the neighborhood. He saw her while she was visiting the kidnapers and they killed him.. 1 Like |

NkanAkpanika: I am from Rivers state. I can confirm that Akwa Ibom has the best road network in Nigeria. And what is fascinating is the fact that the rural area is not left out in good road network. I usually take through Akwa Ibom when traveling to Orochukwu in Abia state. 4 Likes |
