Application submitted by self from knowledge gathered from this thread. Being following from Part 17, reading over 10pages a day to keep up with the amount of information shared and taking jottings. Guys, we have all we need on this thread to DO-IT-YOURSELF.
Wow. This is super fast. Indeed, there's nothing as good as being intentional and doing this by one's self. Above all, it is GOD'S FAVOUR and it will speak for everyone that believes. If i may ask, what type of visa did you apply for your spouse and daughter? |

gaeul: When I wanted to start my application I heard of NSE and wrote IELTS. I proceeded for my upfront medicals in October but alas they saw scar and I did three more x-ray and was told I would have to do sputum. Did sputum for 3days and was told it takes 8weeks for result to be out.
I had wanted to chill till result are out but had to apply for my student permit a month after my medicals in November.
Submitted and did biometrics, then the long wait for the result of the sputum. Fortunately, I passed the sputum December but was asked for one more medicals but I was already pregnant (I got pregnant same month I submitted). They said the last medical is another x-ray. I left UK after my second miscarriage in 2014 and I have been trying to concieve for 5years. I sent someone to IOM for alternative as my gynecologist said No X-ray unless is Life threatening situation. IOM said no alternative.
I resolved never to do x-ray as no ambition is worth more than my baby. I surfed and surfed information to no avail. I had to inform IRCC of my decision not to do X-ray as I was pregnant. I told them plain and simple that my baby is worth more than my ambitions and asked for alternative to x-ray. I attached my pregnancy scan and previous miscarriage documents. They replied me that they have forwarded my request to the appropriate office.I was shocked when my medical changed to passed last week. 4 months after a very complicated back and forth medicals stuggle. The last X-ray was waived as a result of my pregnancy.
Because of my medical glitches, I didn't pay any school fees but I asked my school to give me a letter stating tuittion or tuitton deposit isn't a requirement which they did.
Many people told me they don't give pregnant women student permit but God did it. I didn't risk doing any x-ray with my baby and I got my permit.
I return all the glory to God. My correspondence letter came same day as medicals. I was so tensed but I kept praying. Thankfully my PPR came today.
Pregnancy isn't a limitation but a blessing and it shouldn't be a reason for refusal and I hope my experience encourages a pregnant mother or prospective mother that they can achieve their dreams even with pregnancy.
In all you do, never forget to pray. God is still a God of awesome wonders. I return all the Glory to God Almighty.
To every one waiting for their PPR, may God grant the desires of your hearts.
I want to thank everyone who have shared their timeline or experiences here, you all are the best. You have helped thousands of people unknowingly...May God bless you all
As for proof of finance, I used my personal bank account with just enough for my first year fees and first year living expenses and my land document. I bought the land to preserve my 2nd year tuition fees from naira devaluation which I stated on my LOE.
Thanks to Nairaland I did my application without the help of any agent. Thanks all

Exactly my thought. If your application is less complicated i think it’s always faster. At least a Dec 10 applicant that got refused few pages back used the GCKEY. And i know someone that used the new portal since November no update till now. Teemenzo:
It's right to say but not completely true. The truth is there are no complications in their applications.
I know of someone who used new portal, eligibility review has started and her app will be 3 months by the end of this month. So not completely true that the new portal is faster. The VOs just decided to dispense applications with less attachments.

Thank you NorthernshoreTS: My beautiful people. I feel so blessed and privileged to have joined this forum early enough. Right from the first stage of application for admission to the final process of visa application, I was guided, tutored and advised by so many wonderful and selfless people on this forum. Every single thing I know today about the Canadian study application process, I learnt from here. This application is actually for my wife who is a first time applicant but I handled the entire process. Yes, there were times we were tempted to let an agent handle the application but the money that was being quoted was a bit too much for us so we opted out and decided to venture into the unknown by handling the application ourselves. I give God all the glory and honor for it has ended in extraordinary praise. We utilized the NEW PORTAL for the application. I highly recommend using the new portal, it seems to be somewhat faster than using the regular gckey. Our timeline is highlighted below and please note we DIDNT pay any school fees

Tjank you Of course, you're right. If an application is complicated it'll take time for final decision to be out regardless of which portal used. But in a general sense, I want to strongly believe there is higher chances that VOs are touching more applications from the new portal. Before the new portal was introduced, the truth is we hardly see final decisions coming in within 2 months and now it's happening steadily. In fact, we've been seeing 7 weeks and less now. Come to think about it, if an organization or government introduces new thing or policy, there is higher chances they are trying to abolish the previous thing and stick to what's new. IRCC may do the same in the nearest future. It could be 6 months, 1 or 2 years, no one can say. But personally, I want to believe it'll happen. 3 Likes |

Having a 3rd class with a low GPA(story for another day), which is a natural progression advanced diploma or diploma 5. in addition to number 1, can he gift me some money now as I am looking towards September 2022

@Username1 Pls what the e mail address? I need to start sending them e mails. I applied Dec1,2021. E mail address pls username12: Hello Chief,
I started mailing IRCC 7 times a day and requested for my gcms notes after just 6 weeks of application. PPR dropped 3 weeks later, though via new portal.
My advice is to start mailing them at this point. It does not take away anything from your application. Worst they'll do is to reply you and say sending constant mails will not expedite the processing of your application. So, fire on right away.
