Mujtahida: Keep an open channel. If you need to work too hard to convince, you will need to work harder to keep the person. We need passionate and committed players. Finito. |

do4luv14:Charlesemeka said he is not better than what we have that is why and he is not good enough for us. And if I remember clearly, he was one of those clamouring we get the guys when they're not yet known but now he is saying Tella is not up to any of our players. If he blows tomorrow now, he will be one of those saying we should have capped the guy in March 2022 instead of allowing him to blow first. But let's keep chasing Olise who said we should qualify first. 1 Like |

PurpleHouse:He plays through the middle and on the wings and I'm sure we are already getting choked in the wings with the coming in of Lookman. Either Eze or Olise is still fine as long as they can improve our midfield. How long should we chase him? Should Pinnick meet him five more times? 1 Like |

Meliforme:Your attempt to diminish the point being made by using the word 'beg' is noted. I can approach you over and over again for something that I need without begging you. I might even use the word 'please' and it will still not be begging. Everyday we will not hear word about the importance and usefulness of the local league and the need to source our players therefrom. I've been hearing about this since 1994. The league has not become better. I simply do not condemn or praise local or foreign born players. If you are a Nigerian and you have the qualities needed to be in the team, great, local or foreign matters not. Should we just give local players the room to feature where we have foreign borns who can do a better job if we succeed in convincing them? Or should we pile up foreign borns just because they are FB when we have quality local players? The answer is no to both questions. Neither LB or FB counts, what counts is quality. Some foreign players will not give us a hard time, some will. On both sides we will gain some and lose some. It is what it is. And abeg you guys should leave this Nwakali. He's the dream that never got fulfilled. Enough of him. He simply can't cut it. 4 Likes |

do4luv14:I tire o. Is it bad if he helps us qualify? If he wants to be part of the finale, he should partake in the group stage and not come in after the quarter and semi final to say he played the competition. |

TheGoodJoe:Well you forget to note that Balogun didn't really have another option as he was playing in German second division when he was called up, also the likes of Akpom, Otigba and Derik Osede have indicated interest to play for Nigeria but were never capped. It still comes to the fact that only those the coach pursues will be selected. |

TheGoodJoe:Not true. And you cannot measure passion and commitment by the initial response to a proposition. So now that Lookman has declared for us after 4 years of our 'begging' we will continue to beg him harder abi? You are being impractical |

This nwakali situation is sad because he returned late from the afcon, the club decided to ban him entirely from the senior team. I heard that he was sick and also presented a doctors note, yet, his club turned closed eyes. I believe that, his punishment is too harsh. Suspend him without pay for few games, but to ban him entirely of the senior team |

TheGoodJoe: Is that enough reason to banish him entirely from the team? Is that legal? We have to learn how to support our own in their time of needs because these Europeans DGAF. NFF has to intervene |

Karlovych: Keshi did not pursue Balogun. That is the danger of begging players. It kind of gives them assurances. Players that reach out are options. That is what I mean by no red carpet treatment. |

TheGoodJoe: COVID-19 Auba had that he became available for Gabon's last group game? COVID-19 Khazri had that he recovered in time to play against us? Imagine Sarr that doctors declared totally incapacitated before the tournament, did he not stilll play knockouts? Abeg leave that talk. If Osimhen persisted, he would have made it. The pressure from a club, its fans and city is not something you trifle with. If you want to blame Dennis, blame Osimhen too. 2 Likes |

charlesemeka85: Huesca He is a starter there so why won’t he be given a new deal ? Nwakali is not the type of player I fancy ,but as far as huesca is involved he is a starter and very important to them With the way I saw the situation they are after the crumbs they will get from selling him |

chrisooblog:He has a barometer for measuring passion and commitment and the instrument judges those two qualities by a player's first response to a proposal to feature for Nigeria. If you immediately say yes, you are passionate. If you say no, you are not regardless of the possibility that in the future you might say yes after Pinnick has BEGGED you 2 Likes |
