TheGoodJoe: Is there a universal measurement for passion. Dude the term passion is subjective to the extreme and it's a question of perspective. You are too bigoted and fillrd with double standard and prejudice to make a selection of players based on objectivity. You are the same one eltjst never stop eulogising Nwakali the personification of Mediocrity. 3 Likes |

I hope you are watching Villarreal vs Juventus.. Chuks wing is quite weak and it's the other wing that's leading the attack.. Anytime the ball goes to the other wing at least 3 Villarreal players went to support unlike the way S.E players left Simon alone against at least 2 defenders.. 2 Likes |

JohnBullMySon: Let's talk finances PWC gives a $22 billion remittance into the Nigerian economy constituting about 8/9% of our GDP. Consider these are figures from the formalized Banking sector, if you put the informal remittances then the figures could triple. There are millions of Nigerians in the Diaspora, and they are not reducing but increasing. That's a huge resource that's yet to be fully utilised on multiple fronts. 1 Like 1 Share |

Meliforme: You are completely blinded by prejudice. You are attempting to compare darkness with daylight. Ejuke has a lot to learn and Nwakali after 7 years in Europe has learned nothing. Eze is being priced at £45 million and I can't even begin to imagine the value of Olise. Both are consistent outstanding performers at the highest level. And you are making a comparison with Nwakali, Dude you are lost. 2 Likes |

I agree that Pinnick should not be in London or anywhere as a matter of fact holding such talks. We should have influential people in the UK who can do those lobbying as well as Eguavoen should be in the picture. If people resource is what you meant, then you are so much on point. What am I saying here? Same applies in the homefront. You should people in the right place to develop the game. A lot can be done in the home front at the same time. It is never one or the other. kingphilip:your post is full of prejudice and emotion No one is offering them the captains arm band or a starters shirt on a platter of gold and since they re yet to be capped by their country of birth we won’t stop talking to them No be your kind here stated that what they can offer ejike and olise will offer same which I will say is lame and dumb Them no Dey hide gold nor diamond because both are already highly rated in one of the best leagues in the world with massive release clause. Olise is currently wanted by Arsenal,Bayern and Chelsea while epl new money bags Newcastle are ready to splash 45m pounds on eze to lure him to tyneside The ejike I saw at afcon needs serious football tutelage before making the leap to a bigger league out of Russia while nwakali’s inclusion to the afcon team is a huge Favour from eguavoen because he has done nothing at all to deserve training with the team let alone making the final team to the afcon proper It’s high time you guys face fact than been sentimental and emotional at the same time |

M7even: Your comparison , l am sorry doesn't really have a clear link and fails. It's apparent you haven't lived in a nation with a large Nigerian origin population, outside of Africa. In addition you don't know any of these Nigerian origin players and it's difficult for you to have context. I want you to consider Israel, we have 6th generation Jewish origin British citizens, they consider themselves Jewish first they even volunteer fire milystuy service in Israel. There identity is unequivocally Jewish first and British second. Let me clear , Nigerian origin players ,have mostly a Nigerian cultural heritage as well as a social interaction that's clearly Nigerian. They identify without question as Nigerian. In my view that are more Nigerian than many Nigerian born and bred in Nigeria. I can use myself as an example , l was born in the UK, the first time I came to Nigeria I was 11. I went boarding school in Warri. I speak my language Isoko/ Uhrobo, as well Igbo and a bit of conversational Yoruba. I describe myself as born in the UK but made in Warri. I don't feel Oyibo English in any way or shape. Football doesn't define your sense of nationality it's much deeper than that. 1 Like |

'Bring him back home now' - Chelsea fans react to latest transfer links with Eagles winger Olise Many Chelsea fans have taken to social media to react to transfer links that claim the reigning world champions are interested in signing Nigeria target Michael Olise in the summer transfer window. According to the online edition of The Sun UK, Crystal Palace have a fight on their hands to keep hold of Olise who is on the radar of Chelsea, Arsenal and Everton, with Lille and Bayern Munich also in the race. Olise has a past with Chelsea, representing their academy team and joined Reading after his release. There is no doubt that the former France U18 international, who is also eligible for England, Nigeria and Algeria, has been on fire since the start of 2022, scoring three goals and assisting four others in eight all-competition appearances. Reacting to the news, several fans questioned the decision to release Olise as a schoolboy while some think the winger will be a good addition to the team. Here's what they are saying : @QiblahOkanlawon : "So he his our player, bring him back home now". @ChelvinEdu : "Olise was one of the best players on the pitch vs Palace. To be be Honest without sentiments he is better than a lot of our attackers starting for us" @Necklux : "I think it's high time Chelsea's Football Academy should be investigated, you can't just do away with Olise, Musiala and Tomori". @Elisha__Tom : "Olise was in Chelsea academy, this Club has the best academy products walahi" @husslerrr : "realistically, Chelsea wouldn’t go for olise probably because as a club we really don’t buy for the future + he’s not a big name yet. * raphinha is more of a game changer and “looks” the part * maturity/decision making" @Tef_majik : "We released him, and now we're monitoring, what are we monitoring exactly, our scout n "valuation team" has to be one of the worst in Europe even though our academy is one of the best." @TRoyEva60123394 : "Typical !! We do this all the time off load them then buy them back at 10xs the cost, why not hust keep them and put them in the team, but no every manager wants a player thats top draw and pays over the odds for them, when we do not have too". @AkwubaJohnson : "Very unfortunate! So that boy was at Chelsea? He is very decisive in ball movement." @Yawboamp : "There's wrong buying back what you let go. Is obvious you can satisfy every player all the time.Get him quick if he's that good". @Eleniyan93 : "Monitoring a player we released". @aticoh : "That guy na raw talent, I had mentioned him twice before I saw this news, when I see talent I recognise." @NCOpurum : "Wow. I will say it again, I will take him over Havertz." @Samscam254 : "I think going back for Lukaku should be enough lesson not to go back to our ex players". |

Joebie: This is a true story , some may think posturing. I had discussions with a very high up NFF officials as well as with few others. And I said they needed to create relationship, create a presence make linkages develop long standing relationships with players. Right from U12 upwards. That would require partnership with Nigerian origin individuals involved with football in the UK. Have a strategy that makes Nigeria an option because you have long standing relationships. The NFF should be noticing outstanding talent before England. Don't forget that Ovie and Ademola were rejected by NFF after trials in London. Many felt that the whole thing was corruption personified. However, NFF officials were more interested in coming here , by themselves to Jolly in the name of working. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

If Eguavoen likes he should invite nwakali next month. We are tired of seeing all these Carpenters and jebusites in the SE team. When was the last time he played for his club? He should sort out his problems with his club or his villagers. They should stop giving caps to shitty players. Same mistake keshi did. How long are they gonna push that kid abi man? charlesemeka85: Please read the last line of the excerpt. Contract talks broke down. Huesca offered Nwakali a new deal and he turned it down. That was my earlier assumption. Because of that, the club wanted to loan him out to make some money from Nwakali but Nwakali did not turn up early to the team and did not sign the loan deal. So the club is angry with him. They want to extort him and he said no. That is why the Spanish Players Union is behind Nwakali because it is clear the club wants to use him and is treating him poorly. Finito. 2 Likes 1 Share
