Thank God you said Can but Won’t. Our reputation has been tarnished. Yet, Nigerians are not trying to redeem our glory. Different forgery case daily. So don’t think of it for now. We are doing ourself. ItzRay: I saw it clearly boss but then IRCC can still do better with applicants applying from Nigeria.

I used the GCkey portal

femmybet: How were you able to tell that eligibility has started?
Did you do upfront medicals?
Like I said, I submitted my application on 26th January and by 17th February when I checked back I saw that my eligibility review had already started, so I really can’t tell when it actually started. Also I did upfront medical but my medical wasn’t passed at the time as at that 17th February, I haven’t checked again cos I’m trying to manage my mental health

Congratulations!! I also applied to same school and course but no response from them. Please when did your wife apply to the school and how long did it take for them to respond? NorthernshoreTS: My beautiful people. I feel so blessed and privileged to have joined this forum early enough. Right from the first stage of application for admission to the final process of visa application, I was guided, tutored and advised by so many wonderful and selfless people on this forum. Every single thing I know today about the Canadian study application process, I learnt from here. This application is actually for my wife who is a first time applicant but I handled the entire process. Yes, there were times we were tempted to let an agent handle the application but the money that was being quoted was a bit too much for us so we opted out and decided to venture into the unknown by handling the application ourselves. I give God all the glory and honor for it has ended in extraordinary praise. We utilized the NEW PORTAL for the application. I highly recommend using the new portal, it seems to be somewhat faster than using the regular gckey. Our timeline is highlighted below and please note we DIDNT pay any school fees

I did and no feedback. I applied to five others too...only one came back (Universityof Manitoba) and it was a rejection. Waiting for the other five...University of new brunswick inclusive. Nicky123: Please is there anyone here that applied to University of New Brunswick for Fall intake?

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by username12: 12:02am On Feb 23, 2022 |
I don't think you should submit any documents at this point, unless IRCC requests for it, else, you should expect a longer processing time, because your eligibility review will be paused for the new document to be reviewed and verified before eligibility will start again. Chill and be hopeful. Scott99tish: Quick question House and @Makano;
My eligibility has started since Feb 7 and I just changed Job on 15th of Feb. I left the company that gave me Introduction letter with study leave for a better job now in major telecom company in Nigeria.
Do I need to update them with new job since my LinkedIn account as changed ? I saw something like PFL for fake employment recently. I don’t want this to be interpreted wrongly. Kindly advice…
I also don’t want to affect the process by uploading something that will delay their process.
I’m open to suggestions…

Congratulations!! Your wife and I have a bit similar professional profile and intended course of study and school in Canada. Please I have some questions. I just sent you a mail request. Thank you purespikes: LONG POST ALERT This testimony is on behalf of my wife, who is a silent member of this forum and has been following this thread consistently since Part 19. The Canada journey started in 2019. We started with the EE route by doing WES and writing IELTS, but due to age, we couldn't gather the needed points. Getting PNP also became difficult. So, in 2021, we decided to focus fully on the study route. As such, my spouse and I devoted time to gathering knowledge from this thread. The biggest challenge we had was how to convince the VO on her choice of program (Master of Organizational Management) considering her career as an Auditor in the public service with previous degrees in Accounting( 1st) and Policy Analysis (MSc). She also had lump sum deposits into her account. However, we took another 3 months to systematically build her account as a self-sponsored applicant and also gave detailed explaination on every lump sum deposits in a separate LOE. So, after settling for Crandall (she got admission into many colleges) we eventually submitted her application alongside a visitor visa application for my son.
TIMELINE Application Submitted- 6th December, 2021 Biometric Completed - 8th December, 2021 Biometric confirmed - 9th December, 2021 Upfront Medicals - 3rd February, 2022 Upfront Medical Passed - 15th February, 2022 Eligibility Started - 17th February, 2022 BVL - 21st February 2022 PPR- 21st February, 2022.
I started sending mails to IRCC email addresses on 13th February, 2022, when her medical was not updated. I sent the mails like twice daily and got the generic response.
Upon her PPR, I noticed that my son's medical was updated to pass today and his eligibility review also started today. Hopefully, his PPR is dropping soon as well.
DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED (1) SOP 7 pages. (written by me. It took me over a month. I had to edit over and over) (2) LOA (one year Master of Organizational Management at Crandall University, New Brunswick) (3) Full tuition payment receipt (4) First degree and MSC results and Transcripts (5) IELTS results (6) 4 months Pay slips for both of us (7) Company registration documents with Tax Clearance (we both run the company) ( Notarized letter of support from me (9) Her personal and family travel history to US, UK, (10) Landed properties (11) Her regular bank statement (6 months) (12) Marriage certificate (13) Family pictures, (14) promotion and employment letters for both of us (15) professional certifications (ANAN, IIA) (16) Police Clearance Certificate
Special thanks to GOD ALMIGHTY for making this happen. All glory to Him alone now and forever. I also thank LIANNA2020 who helped me tremendously on how to go about the SOP, OMIINII for looking at the SOP for free,TESTIMONYONLINE for moral support, LEKKIBOBOE for mentioning the University, MAKANO, FRANKROBBN and JUSTMELLOW for sparing time to answer my numerous questions. To all other gurus, I appreciate you.
Meanwhile, I used the IRCC portal not GCkey 1 Like |

Regards. Boss no issues. On your linked in profile, you should show progression from your previous workplace to the new one. So that your linkedin profile can save all your work experiences Note: don't change your work experience, just add the end date of the previous job and add the new job to it. And pls don't interrupt your application, allow your VO to enjoy his or her coffee. Abeg, keep praying. 1 Like |

Just to touch on your number 1 point as this isn't true. A minor who has a parent on study permit can attend any public school in Canada. The only thing needed is a visiting visa to enter, upon arrival when the mother is issued the study permit the children are then issue a visitors record which is enough with their mothers permits to attend school. makano: Hello Jacklens
1. Every student that isn't a Canadian citizen or whose parents are not permanent residents need a study permit to study in Canada...
2. You don't have to be a Canadian or a permanent resident before you can apply for SOWP . So far you have a status (international student) in Canada you can apply for SOWP for your partner outside Canada...
