Good day Visa Officer Thanks for putting up with me regarding the numerous emails. It is not my intention to send you bulk emails but the need to ensure the family is prepared for my departure. Secondly, I have many responsibilities in the office and to ensure my assistant is well briefed. A schedule has been drawn to ensure my handover notes are precise and adequate for him to carry out my job without any issues. Lastly, I belong to a few association like the ........society where am the communication and logistic personnel. I need to give notice ahead of time to ensure no stone is left unturned. I hereby appeal to you as a honorable member of IRCC in Nairobi, Kenya to assist in finalizing my study permit application. I am sure as soon as this application is finalized there will be no need to send you mails anymore. My kind regards to you 8 Likes 3 Shares |

hello team, you're all indeed doing a very great job here. i'd be very glad if my questions can be answered by well-meaning colleagues here. i plan to go and study in canada, however, the tuition fee is outrageous. i can only affpord half of most school's tuition fee. so i decided to use the scholarship means and also since i will be working, i can support myself financially with the wages i earn through working. now, these are what is confusing me. 1) how exactly would i know if a particular school permits a student to work while schooling, because i heard some schools dont permit students to work while schooling. so how can i fish out those schools that enables students work while schooling, because so far so good, it is usually not stated on their site. 2) this is the part that gives me headache. it is evident that before one can apply for scholarship, one must have gotten admission letter, and for one to get admission letter it means one must have applied to the said school in question, and before you can apply to a school, you must pay application fee. my fear is that, if i apply for admission to just one school, get the admission letter, apply for scholarship, and dont get the admission, then i'll have to forgo that school, because like i said, i can only afford to pay half of what most school's tuition is over there in canada. so i hear people saying stuffs like, apply to as many scholarship as you can. but we all know that to apply to a school's scholarship you must first be admitted into that school. and for you to be admitted into that school, you must have at least paid the application fee. so is it that people apply to so many schools, paying these lot of application fee, and when they get the admission letter from these schools, they then begin to apply for scholarship in these schools, and anyone that gives them scholarship, then it is that school's admission letter they'll accept? or is it possible to apply for scholarship in a school, even though you have not been admitted into such school? please i really need help and detailed explanation on how these scholarships works. |

isysleek:UoR admission process takes a long time (atleast for MHRM). It took over 4months before she was given admission. So if your application has not reached 4months, relax it will come out eventually. |

eniola1010: Hi Eniola, Planning to study to in Canada is expensive that is why most people secure help from sponsors to back them up, I do not know the kind of programme you want to study, knowing it would help in advising you on scholarship opportunities. To your questions, 1. Your study permit allows you work for a limited time during your studies, you have to strictly abide by the time allowed so you do not contravene the rules of the permit - so this might not be a good avenue to make money to support yourself because the job you will be doing will not be paying that much. 2. To access scholarship, a prospective student needs to check the scholarship on offer in the school they are interested in, what some students do especially those who are going for masters is to reach out to professors who are teaching courses in the field they want to study their masters and ask if they have funding for students who are admitted into their programmes. If the you are lucky to get a positive response from the professor and they have funding available, you can then apply to that particular school after confirmation from the professor. The consideration is that you have to reach out to many professors to increase your chances of getting a positive response. |

Benstephen9: Crypto related transactions are usually difficult to explain, I would suggest you give them a background of the investment and how it came back into your account, mind you whatever you are explaining you must have documents to back it up. |

Good day my people, for someone resuming for fall 2022 with study permit approval. When can the person travel to Canada that won't be too early? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Bobomaigida: 3:51pm On Feb 23, 2022 |
Joedave25: 1. Your request is not clear Joedave, however, payment can be made via form A using the new TRMS portal were you are debited Naira or direct transfer from your domiciliary account, which you must have funded with FX. 2. It will be difficult to get sample SOP because our stories are different, what you can do is do a draft and reach out to gurus privately to help you review at their convenience. |

You may wish to know that MBA in Canada is very expensive and I don't think you need to reach out to a prof (I may be wrong) before applying. However there are numerous affordable colleges in Ontario and other provinces that offer post graduate certification in accounting, finance and business management related courses. You may want to consider them also. Cheers eniola1010: 1 Like |

dgbanj:most of the time, it's insufficient funds that doesn't make it work. Make sure you have more than the application fee, like additional 5-10k |

Ruby22: NAIT is a very good school. I know two PR people that did Bachelor in IT there. They got a professional job before completing their program, probably through internship. However, the school is very expensive for international student. The person should check the program and fees very well before applying. |

When you say expensive, like how much are we looking at? Estimate Osemigho: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Osemigho: 4:03pm On Feb 23, 2022 |
khennyg: Not really. They are relatively higher than university because their programs are well known and industry related, particularly in Alberta. Some of their programs are two years with internship/co-op. It does not make sense for people to pay the same for internship year. So they increase the first year tuition to balance the second year. I rate both schools high for good technical knowledge, but I prefer SAIT because it is likely cheaper. At the end, it the applicant profile, interest, and ability that matters. |
