Any GDP improvement in Russia has been very small and not helped by sanctions and foreign misadventures like Ukraine, Syria, etc. Putin has had to pour money, resources and arms to prop up his puppet ally Assad who, at present, is unable to repay as his state is destroyed and bankrupt, owing money to Russia and Iran.

So I don’t think Russia could sustain a war like any of the true Superpowers of the USA..

You have been just supporting the west even when you don't know the entire story. The west may have done things for Nigeria, but they have also taken things from Nigeria and Africa x2. No country that becomes powerful by being good. If Russia really wants to take over Ukraine,it will not take up to three days. Do you think that Ukraine has a chance against Russia. Russia is like in a situation in Nigeria where Nigeria is Ukraine,biafrans are people that are ethnically ghanains,while Ghana is Russia. do you think any sane country will allow it's own people related by ethnicity be subjected to inhumane acts of violence.
Us and the rest of the west are just doing eye service with their sanctions since it has been proven that there are a little bit useless. If Russia takes over Ukraine,the west will not attack Russia because the gains they will make from it is less than the costs of it. Every country is self serving
