WWIII would mean wealth transfer from the West to Africa as their money would hold no value due to low or lack of resources.

In order for their countries to survive a post war crisis they would need to invest their raw cash into tangible minerals that hold intrinsic
value like Gold, diamonds, rubies, silver etc for monetization later and where can these valuable minerals be found? AFRICA!

We would now be able to control our mineral resources while they beg for it rather than taking it at will

During WWII Africa was never involved despite being colonies then. Same thing would happen during WWIII regardless of allegiances.
