I've taken time to read Putin's speech concerning the invasion and also watched this video. It's clear Putin is doing what any other president would have done and he's not as bad as the media wants the world to believe.

A lot of war is necessary, everyone can't be a coward. Without war, there can't be peace in the world.
People die every day from terrorist attacks, armed robbery, kidnapping and several others.
If war is not necessary, why do you think countries spend billions of dollars to acquire weapons.
Even Nigeria is still buying more weapons and ammunition.

God I can't even stand the sight of dead bodies littered all over, children crying helplessly with billions of properties destroyed all because we want to achieve peace. This kind of peace that comes through this way and manner to me no be peace ooooh the aftermath hurts if not hunts us. Well I pray this doesn't get scarier than it should.

This is not the first war to be fought in human history. I know you are a Christian, if you read the Bible well, you will see lots of war was fought and more war will still be fought.
So is normal, even God approve war.
The physical properties been destroyed in war are collateral damages.

Yes I'm a Christian but personally I don't like thinking of one maybe because I hate seeing dead bodies and cries from distressed children. I wonder why God was comfortable with those deaths in the Bible that's on the account of wars the children of Israelites fought. Couldn't there be a way around it? Must people die for others to have freedom and peace just as you said and as Bible puts it. Wow this world is immirimious.

One thing you need to understand is, the entire creation is survival of the mighty.
If Isreal don't go to war they would have been wipe out of existence. Same thing Russia is doing now.
Even in the animal kingdom, animals fight and kill each other for survival. Same with humans.
The entire creation is designed that way by God. We can't change it

Don't you hear where he said Russia has made countless attempts to explore this "other ways". What else do you think he should have done. The leading countries in NATO keep giving the same response formed from their self-interest and double standards.

If you look at the situation you'd understand there are no other options available to Putin.

USA threatened to destroy Cuba when Russia wanted to keep its military tools there.

So those who say Russia is wrong to defend against nato expansion should equally come out to lambast USA for wanting to defend themselves against Russia back then.

Oh well. If it's all about expanding eastward, Sweden and Finland that never wanted to join NATO are now close to 100% in NATO. The US Senate overwhelming voted yesterday to approve their application. Same as Canada and other countries that have already approved the application. Ukraine (weak militarily and poorest country in Europe) have not been able to Join EU let alone NATO. It was an invasion that was not well thought of.
