adamsmith914: No. I don't work for Inec and I am not jobless. I am a father of three but I am a stakeholder who knows that 1 minute in governance can change many decisions. If the bill is sign able it should have been signed yesterday to enable Inec use the time table already released for the 2023 election but with this unnecessary shift, inec even when signed on Friday, would still have to readjust their 2023 calandar |

FreeStuffsNG: Anyone campaigning for Tinubu is actually looking forward to see the total collapse of Nigeria. He has lost all sense of moral to lead in any human association, not to talk of leading a polarized nation like Nigeria, due to his legacy of selling public assets to himself. As it is today, he can't make any meaningful suggestions to a national issue, not even a public statement without coming up with clarification later. |

organicfoods: With correct identity system we have in place now, what is the relevance of census to election? |
Re: Signing Of Electoral Act Amendment Bill Postponed Till Friday by AliseKazah(f): 3:12pm On Feb 23, 2022 |
We need a new constitution. |
Re: Signing Of Electoral Act Amendment Bill Postponed Till Friday by organicfoods(m): 3:45pm On Feb 23, 2022 |
mfm04622:Which Identity system? All the Identity systems are not centralised...they also must correspond to the censure we have. The last census was used to manipulate population for election purposes. Correct identity and census will help the electoral system. |
Re: Signing Of Electoral Act Amendment Bill Postponed Till Friday by mfm04622: 4:00pm On Feb 23, 2022 |
organicfoods: How will census help sanitise election? Census will just tell you how many people you have. Census can't tell you how many eligible voters you have. People can be eligible but not register to vote. So you can't count them as eligible voters . Our election register has been cleaned up. When was the last time you heard of rigging that was done by inflating votes? Not since 2015 election. So again, what impact will a credible census have on having a credible election? |
Re: Signing Of Electoral Act Amendment Bill Postponed Till Friday by mfm04622: 4:05pm On Feb 23, 2022 |
organicfoods: You need only a credible election register. We have achieved that. It is the credible election register I am talking about by the identity system. The separate identity systems are being centralized. The BVN, NIN, Passport, Driver's license and voters card are being linked already. |

If he signs this bill... The only candidate that can save APC is a youthful candidate! Any old man with APC ticket under electronic vote is a serious joke of all time. |
Re: Signing Of Electoral Act Amendment Bill Postponed Till Friday by AliseKazah(f): 8:27pm On Feb 23, 2022 |
mfm04622: Yes, it will. Only 18-year-olds and over are allowed to vote. Having an accurate census allows us to cross-check to see if the voting age correlates with the results. |
Re: Signing Of Electoral Act Amendment Bill Postponed Till Friday by mfm04622: 9:08pm On Feb 23, 2022 |
AliseKazah: If it doesn't correlates, what will happen? How will you know everybody over 18 register to vote and also voted? This problem you are just "seeking" solution to have been solved since 2015! Since then have you ever heard of votes being inflated like before? All the 80%, 90% turnout rate in the South East and South South, where are they? In fact, on recent times, we have been suffering from poor turnout. So how do census help check figures if voters show apathy |
Re: Signing Of Electoral Act Amendment Bill Postponed Till Friday by organicfoods(m): 8:12am On Feb 25, 2022 |
mfm04622:Really, NIN, Passport, Drivers License, BVN are just ruise without any effort to link them up with the election register. As long as BVN and the likes are not linked up with electoral register the fraud continues. The so called credible election register has yet to expunge ghosts voters, and under age voters that brought almost 3m votes for Buhari from kastina and Kano alone when Lagos, and all the south west combined votes for Buhari cannot match 3m. Ballots snatching, multiple voting, vote trading and impersonation will be curbed with proper identity system linked with the right census. Did you know that Kastina, Kebbi, Jigawa, Borno, Bauchi, Kaduna, Niger, and Kano beats all south west states in terms of votes casted for Buhari...even topped Lagos state...in terms of number of vote casted for Buhari. To sustain this fraud, the census for this states where falsely jerked up to create electoral values for the state. If you know you know, if you don't do your research or continue with the Ostrich game. |
Re: Signing Of Electoral Act Amendment Bill Postponed Till Friday by mfm04622: 9:11am On Feb 25, 2022 |
organicfoods: They are being linked! You may not know but they are. When you apply for passport, they ask for your NIN. Why are they asking? If you apply for NIN, they will ask if you have BVN. If yes, they will check if NIN has been created to you already. I had NIN already when I went to apply! So it means BVN was used to create NIN and NIN is required for passport. In fact, NIN is required to apply for ANY government identity system. Any. So why make claims you know nothing about? Whose fault is it if Northerners participate more in electoral system? Who said Lagosians should not register or when they register should not come out to vote? Kano, Kaduna and Katsina return high number if votes because their people come out and voted. Nothing more. Don't forget PDP is very strong in the North. So Northern PDP will be looking at APC to be rigging them out? Lol!!! |
Re: Signing Of Electoral Act Amendment Bill Postponed Till Friday by organicfoods(m): 11:59am On Feb 25, 2022 |
mfm04622:Are they linked to the voters card? I am not contesting whether NIN or BVN are been linked, Instead I am asking whether voters cards are also been linked, this one you don't know and will never know...or are there any efforts to do so...answer is capital NO! This things you don't know...the real power is to link them with the voters card and the north will never do this. Why is it that only the voters card are not linked with NIN, BVN in all government documents? Just ask yourself why? Then the answer will further educate you on the population fraud used by the north to dominate the rest of the country. Those large voters been recorded in the northern part are fictional. If voters card is marked up with NIN and BVN before voting can take place, those millions of under age voters and multiple voting in the north will disappear. Kano and Kastina didnt return high number because eligible voters turned up in their millions, it happened because they were falsified with multiple voters and underage voters...there are videos to this facts. Let us not play the Ostrich here. The scam will continue if voters card are not linked with NIN or BVN. The north will never allow this or any credible census. |
