Rugaria:question is does Ukraine hold an allegiance to Russia? No. Is Ukraine a Sovereign state which has the right to choose it's alliances?. Yes . So if Russia is invading Ukraine on the ground that it's protecting itself then I will say it's not true. What Russia is after is to bring Ukraine under it's territory and control and that's selfish.period. |

After all said and done, there is a rise in the fight for communism by Russia, China and North Korea and this display by Russia is just the beginning of actions to head in that direction. |

Biden doesn't want to spark a "world war" by risking a direct clash between American and Russian troops in Ukraine and he's been open about that. "It's not like we're dealing with a terrorist organisation," the president told NBC earlier this month. "We're dealing with one of the largest armies in the world. This is a very difficult situation, and things could go crazy quickly |

Somebody needs to understand that NATO and EU have violated the Minsk agreement between Ukraine and Russia. NATO is security alliance for Northern parts of the world but they have cross boundary to EU and other part of the world in challenging Russia might. America aim and the WEST is to subdue Russia and to dictate to her using Ukraine as bait. However, things are going to be messier here. Russia has every right to fight for her security guarantee because they are not Nigeria. If Ukraine join Nato, Nato and its allies can join forces from Ukraine to destroy Russia sovereignty. Abdotcom: You think that NATO countries are not supplying weapons to Ukraine? You think that most of those NATO supplies are not intended to be used against Russia at a stage? And because you're pro west, Russia should keep quiet and allow such clandestine weapons build up at her borders? Then you will make a bad president if you're elected one.. Russia is not another of your banana republics. Russia is amongst the 3 best military supper powers around. If you play that tricky with her , that close, expect a reaction.. 1 Like |

wirinet: At no point did I state or insinuate that the removal of the Pro-Russian President was the reason for Ukraine wanting to join NATO. The Russian problem in Ukraine of sponsoring and arming separatists in Ukraine in the wake of the Crimean War made joining NATO more attractive to Ukraine even more than mere aspirations dating back to 2008. When your neighbour is more powerful than you and becoming aggressive, it is common sense to look for succour and protection elsewhere. |

Babinski: If there was no pro NATO drive from Ukraine and a general move to towards the European union at the detriment of the interests of her encircled neighbor, Russia would not have annexed Crimea. Agree? So while some people are making the convinient argument that it was Russias actions in Crimea that angered the Ukrainians to propose joining NATO, it's important to note that the two countries were already at loggerheads on a whole host of issues before the Crimea invasion. 1 Like |

@FERNANDEZISBACK, we still are feeling the effect of NATO in the Libya rebellion to overthrow Gaddafi. The place is not the same and the excess of weaponry is what filled BH ranks. African nations only later lamented the action of giving NATO a field base to launch operations as the agreement with NATO did not include overthrowing Gaddafi. When NATO is vindictive, they carry out their plans when given little leeway. Why won't Russia be paranoid? |

NATO and the west have done alot fuelling this avoidable crisis earlier. The Russia demands is not vague "stop moving Eastward, is that too hard for NATO and the west to comply? They should just stop pitching Ukrain to Russia. They used to be a good neighbour. It's a territory dispute. Modified: now that all leaders of the world nation and censoring their utterances and actions inorder not to end up going against your their true allies. Our president should please stay entirely away from this o. They cannot even solve the inner problems in our dear country. We have more in our plate. We can't afford to stand against any of this world tall nations not with what insurgency in the core north is doing. |

Babinski: But NATO and the US had been doing same many times in the past. US and NATO armed and sponsored separatists in Benghazi to overthrow Gaddafi in Tripoli. The US armed and sponsored the kurdish rebels against Am-Bashir in Syria until the running came on the side of the Syrian president. 1 Like |

Rugaria:If they call you black monkey, you will cry racism, another country is invading a sovereign country and you said it is right. This same members of NATO stopped Hitler from invading USSR in ww2,, and also stopped Hitler from making your father go back to sugar cane plantation. You no just get sense, even Russians are protesting against this war. You think this is a movie abi? Wait till their is another world war and God help you dumb skull putting doesn't win. When Hitler started killing Jews in Germany, the elite Jews applauded him because it started with seemingly low income Jews. It was really late before they realised that no Jew would be spared. And over 6 million Jews were brutally killed - that is the way of a dictator and Putin is a dictator. Fools like would voraciously grab an American Visa, Canadian, British and most western country visas and come here to pour out rubbish. Stop analyzing what you don't know, you have nothing to offer. Go and discuss NEPA, RITUAL KILLING, YAHOO, BANDITRY, APC, PDP, KIDNAPPING, BABY FACTORY, CULTISM and Police oppression, they are what you feel. Monkey |

DaddyFabooluz:What is the "main point" here? It was until 2019 Ukraine decided to join NATO, 2014 Russia with no justification annexed cremia, 2015/2016 covertly began funding the separatist states and you say Putin full invasion of Ukraine is not pre meditated?. The West didn't come to Ukraine, Ukraine came to the west, for fear of what is happening now and you say a sovereign state do not have the right to seek protection for them self's. Please don't forget Russia have many NATO members who they share very close boarders with, have NATO invaded Russia?. It's stupid to think NATO and US will wake up one day and decide to attack Russia because they have bases close to Russian boarders. I understand no leader wants to have an enemy at it's door step but it's that enough reason for Putin to invade a sovereign state with no justification?. Please understand Ukraine is only trying to protect itself from the tyranny of Putin. Your hate for US, shouldn't make you biased. |

Rugaria: You have it all wrong about NATO. Read the treaty properly. NATO is purely for defense purposes. The allies won't fight for you if you invade another country. It's purpose is to defend you if you get invaded, not to help you if you decide to invade another. That being said, Russia has no right to invade a sovereign country. If your neighbor plays politics that does not favor you, there are subtle ways of fighting back. You mentioned Cuba and Venezuela. Did the US ever invade? Granted they subtly attempted a regime change, but was there ever a full scale invasion?. It's easy for you to support Russia, because this is happening far from home. Imagine it was Cameron invading Nigeria because we want to align with a country they don't like. I don't think you would hold these same views when bombs drop all around you. Think about the after effects if Russia succeeds. China will invade Taiwan. Indian on Pakistan? What's to stop China from seizing territories in Africa countries that owe them? This is exactly the move Germany made that caused the second world War. The fear of this kind of invasion is the reason why Ukraine has to join NATO. If they had, Russia would not have attempted this. |
