Ammishaddai:stop delving into what you lack knowledge of. Yahoo boys aren't the reason. The reason is simply because CBN has come out with policy of no more selling fx to bank. The cbn governor told banks to go source for their own forex any way they can, that CBN will no longer support bank with forex, after all,it is their bread and butter. So for this reason, access bank cut down their international spend limit from $300 to $100, exclusive card from $500 to $200 for monthly subscription,$1000 from $2000. Increased their dollar rate from 470 to 490 ,and other Banks like uba and eco bank followed suit . More banks will follow too. All is to boost their fx reserve against the time the cbn directive will take effect. Stop spewing gibberish. I use PayPal both local and 2 foreign PayPal Account. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Ammishaddai: Stop typing nonsense. This has been going on for more than a year now. That's how they reduced it to $100 per month. Nigeria has serious Forex challenges. You're truly very ignorant about what has been going on for more than a year now. Fûcking use Google. Disgusting display of ignorance 3 Likes |

Ammishaddai: Has PayPal worked in Nigeria before Yahoo boys became a menace? Some of you block head will just want to look for easier targets to blame. The Problem here are the banks not willing to settle card transactions at official exchange rate of N430, all Nigerian banks lobby CBN to keep the card limit low, so they don’t have to settle those transactions at official rate. Ask Buhari to take International Card limit to $2000 and see the Naira go back to its formal rate in less than a month. Artificial scarcity of USD is the cause of death for the Naira. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Victerica: CBN is scared that we may run out of Forex if people are allowed free access to Forex. It's also part of their way of stopping the free fall of Naira. Fire brigade approach. I still remember that endsars period. Had to use crypto to make some international payments because the $100 limit my bank placed on my debit card was useless |

Ammishaddai:Paypal , Transwise and the likes has nothing to do with dollar availability. It has to do with our economic policies and trade. Are we generating Dollar as much as we are spending it? In ability to use Paypal is different from what is available to us to spend via the CBN 2 Likes |
