Story of my life now
So yesterday,I went for the regular antenatal clinic and complained about having off and on contractions. So doctor said go and bring gloves let's check. My joy knew no bounds. I jejely go buy gloves come meet doctor and he checked and discovered I was already 4cm dilated. Na so them ship me go labour ward oh. I don spend 24hrs for labour ward already and oga no wan show. Contractions are not cooperating, I have already had 8 VE's done(not funny) membrane ruptured but na that contractions no wan cooperate. A doctor is saying baby's head is not decending cos he feels the head is big and am hearing something like face to pubis.

while I was doing my scan 2days ago sonographer jokingly ask if my husband is from Ibadan I told him no he said that's because my lo head is big and na Ibadan people dey get big head

Good morning my good people of nairaland. As I type these now, my wife is in FMC asaba she was admitted since yesterday. Her BP is 140/100 and the doctors carried a urine test on her, they saw protein in the urine. According to her, the doctor told her the protein is 1 percent. Now the doctor is talking about terminating the baby which we refuse. I dont base in Nigeria, because of this baby, I have to spend 5 months in Nigeria just to make sure everything is fine. Please guys is terminating the baby the only options for us. I need this baby so badly. Help me and my wife.

I was admitted at 5 months pregnant earlier this year with a plus 1 Protein in my urine and bp of 160/90.

If you want to cook beans to reduce heartburn

First, soak the beans in water for 30 mins or 1hour before you cook it...
Then, wash and cook it once it boils, bring it down from the fire and wash it again.

After that, you can now cook your beans and enjoy it.

This procedure helps to reduce the acidity and heartburn...

My guess is that it has registered in her brain and it irritates us hearing the sound.

Good morning all. I have been a silent reader on this forum for a while but i was waiting to get to my 2nd trimester to become a vocal member but i miscarried.
Today the pregnancy app i forgot to deactivate sent me the usually weekly milestone celebratory reminder and i have fallen apart since then because this time last week we had our first scan, where my baby was active and doing fine. In fact it took the sonographer sometime to get a clear picture cause the baby was just jumping up and down.
Tuesday evening unexpectedly i started having cramps, before i knew it my water broke, followed by the blood and tissue. By the time we got to the doctor, got a pelvic scan done, i knew my baby had gone. I had to undergo and evacuation.
I had to share this here because i have been trying to find closure going over everything that happened during the days between the scan and the miscarriage. What i ate, did or didn't do, what i could have done to prevent it. This was supposed to be my first, i am at my wit ends as i dont know how to deal with this loss.

well... Gettin faint line matters in sm case but dt pix dt i saw is thick enough not to worry.

lol... Dnt worry, she will stop... I was a chronic thump sucker too... I cant really remember how i stopped...i stopped b4 i even start sch cs i dont remember sucking wen i was in nursery.

Pls, do gather yoursef up, let ursef heal up at hrt, body n soul, there is alwz light at d end of d tunnel, God will definitely do it again...n i pray it will b double... Try again once u stop bleeding cs women r most fertile at dt period n u will come here to rejoice n carry to term insha Allah... Dont tink much of it okay pls my sister.... Miscarriage happens thou to sm factors in d body, it can b chromosonal abnormalities, baby not forming well, less progesterone in d body, cervix incompetence, d structure of d uterus, thinning of d uterus wall, wat u might ve consumed not knowing d effect it will hv on the body, etc... So many factors dear... Investigate wat might caused it n tackle it to mk sure it nva happen again... Work wit ur doctor nxt time n all will definitely b fine.... Pls do take care dear n pls dont lose hope... Pray to God 4 guidance n all shall fall in place.... Much love

Sorry for the loss sis, very soon you'll smile again. As someone who once had a near experience to yours, one thing I didn't do after evacuation was to dwell on what happened. I took it off my mind as if it never happened because if I didn't I would not be able to prep my body for another. I know people have different pain threshold but I'm here to let you know that you need to put that in the past so you can move on. Just so you know that God is faithful and he'll come through for you, I evacuated 2nd of June, can't remember how many days bleeding lasted, had a cycle that month which I started tracking though nothing happened but God showed up with my July cycle.

Don't be downcast, you'll get pregnant again by the grace of God and this time you need to take out time to treat yourself like a newborn, go to the hospital early as you might need progesterone support, while waiting, make sure you treat malaria and typhoid as they can be deadly in pregnancy, start using folic acid as it'll go a long way, include vegetables and fruits in your diet and we'll be here waiting for your BFP

A repeat test in few days will show it darker than this as your HCG levels are still building up.

Aww the lord is your strength mama, I know how painful and difficult this can be, only God can comfort anyone going through this, you try and blame everything for the miscarriage even your food or water. try to take it off your mind. Start trying again like omakridd said, it will happen very soon again ijn.

I miscarried twice lastyear all within two months, till today I still feel bad when I remember it, especially last year November when I was suppose to give birth and this February too.
But God bless us with another pregnacy again same lastyear, it wasn't even planned.
What we did differently was that I started progesterone injection the very moment I found out I was pregnant, and stayed away from anything stress. So u see, there will always be light at the end of the tunnel.

God the comforter will comfort you, you shall come back here to share your testimony soon and I will remember you in my prayer tonight.
