jihday: It is clear as daylight and you can see clearly why it was inconclusive to rule a handball for Rodri.

TheGoodJoe:The Goodjoe, pls lets leave that issue. Everton was robbed. The handball was as clear as daylight. Rodris hand was even flapping like an eagles wings. 1) It was not even in it's natural position. 2) The ball did not hit his chest it didn't even touch any part of his chest. 3) The ball was not coming from the too, so the shoulder is not even in the equation. The ball simply bounced, did not hit the chest, did not touch the shoulder, and his hand twitched, Abeg with ur church mind, where it hit Even the direction of the ball afterwards showed that something changed it's direction. And that thing no be breeze. My man leave matter. Liverpool was robbed of the chance to go top. Everton was d sacrificial lamb. QED

comodo: Many of you guys have a fault of paying attention. Those pictures you are showing is after the contact with the ball. His body is not in contact with the ball in those pictures. The picture I showed you was where the contact happened. Then you go to display pictures after the contact. Please, foul happens when the player contacts the ball. This angle I showed, shows clearly when Rodri made contact with the ball and there was no conclusive evidence of handball for Rodri. Finito.

TheGoodJoe:The image you're showing seems to contradict what you're saying. This contact is nowhere near his chest and I can clearly see his shoulder and it's distinct shape and the shadow it casts. How can that ball be said to be touching anywhere but his arm? |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by comodo: 7:53am On Feb 27, 2022 |
TheGoodJoe:What you just showed is side view of the incident. I've shown u the front view, rear view, left side view etc. Of the same incident. Abeg my bro leave thAt your picture after contact and picture before contact. What's up there are same pictures from different angles You just posted a picture from an angle where the vanishing point will be so close to the chest. But the front view has shown how far the ball is from the chest See as d guyman use eye dey watch as him scoop the ball

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 8:04am On Feb 27, 2022 |
superbloke: There is the arm area in the image. The ball is not clearly off the green area. The ball has to be totally off the green area of the arm. Not shoulder. It was not clearly off. So it is no conclusive evidence of handball for Rodri. |

TheLoneCitizen:oga stfu and get sense Folks of ur kind always twist things to measure up to their narratives and claims How dare you compare a player who’s success in football is only in the Israeli and Turkish leagues to almighty jay? Who DF is nwakaeme to compare to an African great and world renowned ex international like jay jay? Is he that superb and the top 3 in the Turkish league which are besiktas, galatasaray and fenebahche are yet to snatch him from trapzon? Jay jay is an afcon winner, stared in 3 World Cup with jaw dropping performances especially one got him a big money move then to psg which made him the most expensive African footballer then, he is a cult hero in the French,German and English league and conqured the Turkish league to an extend he was awarded citizenship by the Turkish government He is a BBC African footballer of the year and hv finished 2nd in the African player of the year 3 losing out to eto fils in 2 and hadji Today he is regarded as one of the best from Africa that mesmerized the world with his footie skills You no get respect for legends at all 2 Likes |

mostob: Let us keep bias off this talk and debate points. From this picture, is the ball clearly off the green area? Even though as Lescott pointed the freeze here is still wrong. The ball was higher than this. So, if they rule against us, I won't feel hard done but I understand why it was ruled as inconclusive.

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 8:27am On Feb 27, 2022 |
mostob: Are you sure the ball is totally off the green area? VAR, you need to be sure before ruling. That is why it was ruled inconclusive. Finito.

Nwakaeme is superb ,you always berate players from the Turkish league so no be today I don’t rate jay jay okocha but the guy you quoted is surely speaking nonsense but that doesn’t mean you should try to say Nwakaeme hasn’t been superb at turkey ,unless you are a blind bat |

TheLoneCitizen: May I remind you that BBC African footballer of the year is awarded for the best African in Europe? The African footballer of the year is also awarded for his time in Europe so tell me what awards Nwakaeme amassed in Europe to even warrant a comparison because his 9 goals is measly, in comparison last season Simy scored 20 goals for relegation side Crotone, Iheanacho scored 19 goals for Leicester,Moffi scored 15 goals to save Lorient from relegation, Onuachu scored 28 goals to secure Genk the league, Awoniyi scored 13 goals for Union Berlin so tell me how Nwakaeme with his 9 goals is supposed to be a great? and Onuachu didn’t score 136 goals over the past 5 seasons for you to consider Nwakaeme as Nigeria's best player over that period |

TheGoodJoe:I'm curious, is there any rule that states that the ball must be completely off the green area before it is declared an handball? And please don't twist the handball rule...the handball rule emphasis on the boundary between the shoulder and the arm as the bottom of the armpit. The ball hit Rodri on his biceps sir which is totally off the green area. |

charlesemeka85: oga stfu and get sense Why be so uncivilized, brother? Pele is arguably the greatest player of all time. But not an European great. How dare you compare a player whose success in football is only in the Israeli and Turkish leagues to almighty jay? Calm down. Hagi is one of the greatest footballer in Europe. His greatest successes came in Turkey and Romania. Who DF is nwakaeme to compare to an African great and world renowned ex international like jay jay? You're just going in circles and reiterating what I said. African great for his exploits with Nigeria. World great like Pele, but not European great. TheLoneCitizen: Is Nwakaeme that superb and the top 3 in the Turkish league which are besiktas, galatasaray and fenebahche are yet to snatch him from trapzon? This is funniest point, and I'm being mild and respectful here, brother. Nwakaeme is so good he turned a non-top 3 side into champions. Why join the top 3 clubs, when you can make one yourself? Jay jay is an afcon winner, stared in 3 World Cup with jaw dropping performances especially one got him a big money move then to psg which made him the most expensive African footballer then, he is a cult hero in the French,German and English league and conqured the Turkish league to an extend he was awarded citizenship by the Turkish government Most expensive player in Africa? Is that an achievement? Then let's hail legend Nicolas Pepe. PSG were so disappointed in Okocha that he admitted that they expected too much of him. In fact, he was begging the club not to release him before they let him go on a free. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/2236978/okocha-upset-with-psg-treatment Conquered the French,German and English league? How man? Chris Woods has scored double figures in each of his last 4 seasons in England, is that conquer? Inaki Williams have contributed 12 goals in 6 of his 7 seasons in LA Liga. Is that conquer. Napoli have only 13 trophies in their history, Maradona won 5 of them. That's what you call conquer. With trophies. He is a cult hero in different leagues, so also is Ben Arfa. They call this players "street will never forget", or best not "greats". Starred in three World Cups? Bro. |
