Looks interesting. Does this require some special skill set or tools for execution?

Nothing at all, just excel, Time to burn and an analytical mind.

Is it not possible to withdraw via ACH direct deposit into US bank details provided by aboki.africa (now called grey.co)

Upwork says transfer to US banks via ACH is free

It is. I've done it, it was free from upwork and I successfully transferred from Grey to my bank account.

Everything was seamless!

Can withdrawal also be made from Fiverr to aboki Africa?

I don't use Fiverr. Can't help you there

i think using aboki africa to withdraw from upwork is the best, you lose 3dollars at most for the service charge for both upwork and the app...and the juicy part is that you get to withdraw your dollars directly to virtual USA bank account at the exchange rate of 566 or whatever dollar is at that moment. that 390naira upwork they churn out to payoneer is disheartening

Is there a problem withdrawing from Upwork to Zenith Bank?
I'm getting "payment rejected" (see screenshot below)
Usually, I withdraw to FCMB but I wanted to switch to Zenith Bank.

The issue with Wise is needing an International Passport for KYC and then I think you need a $20 fee or something to activate the account, just too much stress.

And the issue with Grey is they only pay USD to Zenith and one other bank. So any money I send there is eventually converted to Naira which I don't want as I prefer to save in USD

So I get my spendable cash in Naira through Grey(usually stays in Grey as USD until I need to top my Naira account then I convert to Naira and top, an almost instant procedure)
and then my savings in USD to my Dom through Payoneer

Once Grey allows withdraw to GTB Dom, it would totally replace Payoneer for me. Technically it is slightly cheaper and also I don't have to spend 2 hours in traffic to get to my favourite Aboki.

I hear PayDay offers virtual accounts also. Do you have any experience with them?
Also, what's the service charge for Wise, I still don't get why you choose them over Payoneer

I use Deels for Wise and can move to Wise for free, I have people I sell to , via Wise and incur little to no charge. Wise is cheaper for me, Payoneer I just don't trust them or their customer service. Grey I am having issues with my account.

Withdrawing from payoneer is 2% the amount(minimum of $10).
Grey charges 1% of amount deposited.
Grey charges another 1% to swap from foreign currency to naira(maximum of 3000, about $12) then a #35 fee from your naira balance to your bank account

Thank you for the analysis,. Selling to exchanger is not bad then,. Even with higher withdrawal comes higher charges.

I don't have one.

A nice portfolio and reviews of past works in my opinion would be what a client would be looking at

Oops! I saw this late ... Just used Payoneer to withdraw from Upwork... Now am wondering if to swap to pounds in Payoneer and send pounds to grey.co or send dollars to grey.co and swap to pounds in grey.co before I convert to naira

I heard pounds to naira is faster transaction than dollars to naira on grey.co

Lol... Swap is INSTANT and cost you 1%(max of #3000) so trust me you don't want to be doing multiple swaps.

Unless you need the money in pounds for another reason, I suggest you stick to a USD => Naira conversion
