That isn't true...
He started a lot of games for Brentford before the AFCON...
He has been coming from the bench

only started few games

and half way into those few games he will be subbed off

Onyeka is not a starter for Brentford

Till date jay jay holds the record of most successful dribbles in a World Cup game (against Italy in US 94)

Him being forced out of contract at psg then was because the French side plan to reduce their wage expenditure of which jay jay was among the big earners then at the Paris based side. As of then jay jay was racking in 80,000 pounds weekly. He was offered a new deal with a reduction on his wages which he declined and both party decided to wait for his 4 year deal to run out for him to leave for free

Also The club management came up with the plan to force him out from the club not because of his poor performances but for the reason he was always out on international matches with the Nigerian national team which made him skip matches

Attracting such honor as the most expensive African player then wasn’t an east feat because one but be too good and needed for a certain team to pay big to bring him on board. Pepe was outstanding at Lille which prompted Arsenal to splash the cash on Lille just to lure the Ivorian. Same was osimehn when he left Lille for Naples

Abeg I hold nothing against nwakaeme but never you bring him n jay master jay in a conversation let alone comparison

In the history of epl and French football you can’t mention the best ever playmakers that graced the leagues with their mesmerizing skill set without listing jay jay

Ex German striker Gomes said jay jay’s goal against Oliver Kahn made him to choose football as a career. He said after seeing the goal on tv he automatically feel in love with football and wanted to make a career out of it

sorry but this your argument is somehow? If PSG wanted him out for high wage bill so Bolton should be the next stop? Imagine juve offloading Ronaldo for high wages and he end up with watford

Good. So that gives you one of millions of reasons why so-called "great" talent Nwakaeme has never tested himself in a league higher than Turkey.

The Turkish league is rated about 20 in Europe, the Scottish League is rated number 9. And it is well proven that the English Championship is far better than the Scottish premier League.

The Turkish league is the retirement league of Europe it's poor quality and it's very hard for player's to progress from that league to the top 5.

With regards to Nwakeame he is old and looks old as well. Add to that the African penchant for age falsification doesn't help him.

Consider the number of players who leave the Championship straight to the top 5 leagues of Europe, says the league has very low rating.

As a consequence so will Nwakeame have very low rating comparison to other better leagues. That's probably the main reason he remains there.

baba I am not disputing nwakaeme’s achievements but you can never compare the Turkish league to French ligue one let alone the epl

They are players that scored tons of goals in lesser leagues but are not counted amongst the greats that played the in Europe. You can only be recognized when you achieve such feat in the epl, laliga, bundlesliga, serie A and maybe the French league

The strength of any league is measured by the quality of players present in the league not only on finance and revenue.

if nwakaeme is currently putting up this numbers in the French league or even the bundeliga I bet you that few mid table epl and laliga teams will take a gamble on him even at the age of 32

Thank you

when jay jay moved to Bolton he was close to 30

Alladyce made the move immediately he learnt jay jay is out of contract with psg and him waiting for offers and inorder to play in the epl he accepted immediately by assuring Sam that he will drive to England the next day to sign for the epl newcomers then

He had other offers but saw the opportunity as his last chance to play at the epl then which prompted him to take a massive pay cut which is around 40k a week then if am correct

he was 28 when he joined Bolton I believe that’s the best offer he got. Although I’m sure he got plenty but largely mid table European teams. Was good but I feel we kinda overrate how good he was

did I tell you the likes of madrid,Bayern and United wanted him?

It was immediately Nigeria crashed out from the 2002 World Cup that big sam met him in France where they had an agreement verbally and the next day jay jay drove to England to sign

Even reports had it that he never knew any about Bolton but was enticed with the lure to play in the epl. To jay jay, the Bolton move was a big gamble but he was eager to make a name in one of Europe’s best leagues then which made him accept the offer verbally without even researching about the club

Are you looking at the picture you posted? Dimechelis is not touching Messi in that picture. So what does it have to do with the discussion?

He tackled Messi outside the box and the referee gave a penalty.

You're still on this far better comparison between the championship and the Scottish League?

So you mean championship team will perform far better than what the Scottish League teams have been dishing out in the champions League and Europa League?
