I saw a video of Russian soldiers blowing up an ATM machine in Ukraine, trying to steal money, while their war tanks are running out of fuel. They did not properly plan for this war.

War is money cos you have to plan for what your soldiers will eat, plan for their armory, their fuel etc.... and with the current sanctions on Russia, it will affect their economy's ability to fund and sustain this war for long, that's why they are doing everything to capture Ukraine early.
