Teemenzo: Again, I will like to add, tell the applicant not to be scared. Its also possible IRCC sent a mail to his bank to verify his statement and they did not receive a reply on time as at that time. Whixh is why this indicated PFL does not have a pre-assessement on it. It then obvious they have received the reply from the bank which is why the applicant have not receives a PFL notification on his portal till date. Tell the applicant he should not be scared as long as all his docs are genuine to the teeth. 2 Likes |

Good day everyone, I need some clarification on what to do. My younger brother got his application approved (I'll post his timeline shortly) but he's decided to change courses (school has approved of the new program) as he had to defer his admission for his initial program he applied for (session started in Jan). Now that the visa application has been approved, what would be the next steps ( as I know we have to notify IRCC of the new change). Would he have to put in a new application or just notify IRCC before getting his passport stamped. Any advise on how to proceed with this would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance! |

technix: Many applicants wrote "SOP" (Statement of Purpose) for their visa application and got approved. I for one, wrote SOP and another one titled LOE to explain the lump sum in the POF and the approval came as a 1st time applicant. It is a matter of choice and semantics. What is vital is the content, not the title. 3 Likes |

Please I need help. I got married last year July, my husband is a PR in Canada. We filed for a visiting visa through an agent in May. Biometrics was in June and till now we haven't gotten any response from IRCC regarding my application. Haven't been away from my husband for the past 7months after our wedding. I decided to apply for school. Submitted application last week for fall 2022 in take and awaiting admission from school. My fear is what are the chances of me getting a student visa with my spouse being a PR in canada. I intend using my father-in-law as sponsor coz of his business and assets then my sibling, car and land as home ties since my husband is not here and our marriage certificate shows his address in canada. Please has anyone gotten student visa with their spouse in canada? Can my father-in-law stand as sponsor with different last name. Though I intend getting an affidavit for change of name. Please someone should help with answers. I'm tired of being alone without my partner and school seems to be the fastest route now |
