IMO, internet penetration is low in the east because most young people from the east don't reside in the region. The SE leaders haven't made effort to create opportunities for our people in order to keep them there. The implication is that every young Igbo wants to migrate to Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt or elsewhere in the world in search of greener pastures. People often say that anywhere you go and you don't see an Igbo man, you know that nothing is happening there. Funnily enough, our people see that as a good thing. The truth is, there's nothing good about a region's most brilliant minds leaving in droves. 256 Likes 25 Shares |

Of what relevance is this data? Will it make apc zonebs to buy fuel for #100/l or will it stop Tinubu from using pampers? 2 Likes 1 Share |

Only Etop Ikpe probably knows what he is saying. Others be speculative. In this life, if you are not sure of what you are saying just shut up. Plus, I think it's largely a broadband connectivity issue. Facebook or Google recently set out to run sub sea cable throughout the whole of the South East Region. Not sure about the update of their activities. 4 Likes |
