Mr. Busy.....its shameful that you will be in your father's house....... in your so called sophisticated area and a boy from the East will come empty handed and in few years become not only land owner but estate owner and you will be there collecting development and foundation money in same estate with the Toga of omonile. What stops you from hustling?...I know your type and i enjoy giving out stipends for your gbaraga and amala..... Stop hating and hustle or die lamenting.

The developers are seeing the results back home and they are not happy. This results looks more like our population 80% on spot. Not that nonsense census where Kano has more population than Lagos

Only Etop Ikpe probably knows what he is saying. Others be speculative. In this life, if you are not sure of what you are saying just shut up. Plus, I think it's largely a broadband connectivity issue. Facebook or Google recently set out to run sub sea cable throughout the whole of the South East Region. Not sure about the update of their activities.

Subsea where there is no sea?

Very true..,nothing dey for the Easter parts of Nigeria especially those Igbo hinterland states. Economic opportunities is near zero. Just wake up and tell someone you are going to Anambra to seek for opportunities...your people wont be pleased with you.

I am not in surprise with the data but my question here is who are the populous users of the internet in the other regions? I know the answer will be Igbo, because they are more wiser and intelligent than the remaining tribes in Nigeria.

IMO, internet penetration is low in the east because most young people from the east don't reside in the region. The SE leaders haven't made effort to create opportunities for our people in order to keep them there. The implication is that every young Igbo wants to migrate to Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt or elsewhere in the world in search of greener pastures.

People often say that anywhere you go and you don't see an Igbo man, you know that nothing is happening there. Funnily enough, our people see that as a good thing. The truth is, there's nothing good about a region's most brilliant minds leaving in droves.

A masterstroke from the Fulani hegemony that rules the Jihadian/Lugardian contraption.....am sure the Brits borrowed the cattle herders some sense in that regard..." economically marginalize them so that their youth will flee their region and are unable to strategize at any level". Meanwhile na we! the dumb and naive Igbos full Anglican and Roman Catholic churches praying to their white jesus graven image.......talk about being clueless........... Ndigbo free your minds, repent and go back to the True God of The scripture....The Most High Yah! The God of Abraham,Isaac and Jacob.

I beg to differ. The Igbos have one of the best rural settings you can ever think of. That is, you still find a good number of people in the village compared to most areas where people leave the villages and only a handful remain. I strongly believe that the cost of doing business accounts for this low penetration because the amount it will cost a telecom company to erect one mast in the south east can be used to erect 4-6 masts in the north.

You guys are free to go. We no hold una. But you are only free to go with una 4 ancestral States. Enugu, Imo, Ebonyi and Abia States. Leave Anambra alone. Anambra na IGALA ancestral State.

People mostly migrate due to lack of opportunities where they are. This clearly shows that southeast is the poorest and least prospective region in Nigeria.

Very poor reporting and analysis......Going by state by state , south eastern state are far better than other states .....the reason why the sum of south east states is 13.7m is because it is just only 5 states compare to other zones that have 6-7states in one zone ....
