Very poor reporting and analysis......Going by state by state , south eastern state are far better than other states .....the reason why the sum of south east states is 13.7m is because it is just only 5 states compare to other zones that have 6-7states in one zone ....

Forget stories, your region is the least from the statistics. grin grin grin

This is one reason why I will once more appeal to MTN . It should use its tax credit for projects in Lagos. It is not fair when MTN earns billions from Lagos and the SW and decides to use its tax credit to fund the Owerri-Enugu expressway project in the SE alone.

It is unfair that the bulk of the money MTN wants to use for the project is earned from Lagos and Southwest yet MTN has no tax credit project in the SW. It is unacceptable and I urge the LASG to make a case for us with MTN.

MTN can help SW build that proposed Bridge in Lekki that will connect Ondo state and will enable people to travel between Lagos and Ondo state in 45 minutes.

We need more projects and investment in Lagos. Please support us MTN .Please

God bless Lagos State.

Meanwhile,I urge you to please bring your investments to Lagos today.

In Lagos, you and your investments are safe and your investment is guaranteed of great returns.

We are a very hospitable people . We are the startup capital of Africa and we have the best run city economy in Africa in terms of GDP.

We have a vibrant population and we are the World Economic Forum-rated Africa's No 1 cosmopolitan city with with many infrastructures, a prestigious University of Lagos(UNILAG) that has produced notable Nigerians like the current V.P ,Prof. Yemi Osibanjo,SAN, beaches, great folklore traditional Yoruba & contemprorary Yoruba Afro hip-hop music , the city of Grammy Award winners and food!

Invest in Lagos today, please.

Thank you.

And na them dae shout restructuring and vat autonomy pass, when they contribute the least.

I keep telling these people restructuring and vat autonomy doesn’t favour the east but that Biafra brain damage is disturbing them stopping them from thinking, I will just keep waiting until it happens so they will use their own back fired foolishness as another reason to die again in the name of Biafra struggle

I sincerely hope that ibos in the diaspora who have been deceived that their fellow people are marginalized can start seeing data. Gone are the days ibos can manipulate Nigerians. Lol. The way you lay your bed is how you lie on it. Simple.

Ibos, return to your states and go develop them. If you do, you will be in unity. Stop developing other regions and then start crying foul play your places are underdeveloped. You are the ones abandoning your places. You don't expect others to develop your homes.

And if you cannot develop your homes, you cannot develop Nigeria. We will not hand over to you the keys of Aso Rock.

Go develop your states. Show us you are real ibos.

IMO, internet penetration is low in the east because most young people from the east don't reside in the region. The SE leaders haven't made effort to create opportunities for our people in order to keep them there. The implication is that every young Igbo wants to migrate to Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt or elsewhere in the world in search of greener pastures.

People often say that anywhere you go and you don't see an Igbo man, you know that nothing is happening there. Funnily enough, our people see that as a good thing. The truth is, there's nothing good about a region's most brilliant minds leaving in droves.

Clearly spoken....

That's why you don't see them flying in thousands to other regions. But you see the Easterners, they can't make a great impact generally until they move down to SW.

We always accommodate them though bkos, we are their Jerusalem.

Very true..,nothing dey for the Easter parts of Nigeria especially those Igbo hinterland states. Economic opportunities is near zero. Just wake up and tell someone you are going to Anambra to seek for opportunities...your people wont be pleased with you.

There's nothing in that region. They are really suffering there. That's why they legalise criminal activities like drugs, Baby factory, Buying and selling of Babies, Ritualist, Kidnapping, Prostitution and IPOB.

“I remember I worked with one of the governments in South East and one of the things recommended was the focus on broadband connectivity and that we should collaborate with telecommunications companies to bring broadband connectivity. So until the region improves on that it’s going to remain a problem.

“Sometimes it’s also about Right of Way. The South East is very difficult to do business.
