It is expensiveto send items to China. Sell the items if they are not defective and cut your losses

I experienced this and lost everything.
Here's what I learnt, cancel the dispute and open it again but this time choose partial refund 50-60% the cost price and count your loss

If it's a light item and more than $100, go straight to the post office and use the easiest logistics you can get and provide the tracking number before it expires

Hurry up as aliexpress customer agent and the seller collaborates to scam unsuspecting victims

Its one of the things with online buying,just sell it here any way u can.
If na something expensive,i for say make u risk am send back

I bought an LG V50 but it has been restarting and seller said I should return or repair. Just got it yesterday from Repairer and some apps keep stopping. Any idea how much returning it would cost please?

As long as it involves a Xiaomi phone,free and paid shipping uses both Singapore post,
Only if otherwiase stated the seller would use DHL or any other means,
But the shipping method is always indicated.
And this Singapore shipping thing na luck,no one is guaranteed to receive but in most cases they arrive,even thou very late,good thing is refund is 100% sure.

Why do you guys file dispute for return and refund,
When you can just do refund only,
To return items to China might be costly,and in most cases takes too much time.
Get a estimated cost of repair,file for a refund only option and seek partial amount,that way you do not need to deal with the stress if returning the item.

Shipping was free( Ali express standard shipping) and the device got to me within 50days+

My oga Noobody has said it all.

Did you open dispute for this case? If yes, review your request to partial refund. If you must go for full refund and return, then be ready to wait and spend for the return but, personally, it doesn't worth it.

To your numbered post:
1. Maybe seller will have to pay custom duty if shipped with EMS. NIPOST is cheap but I don't know if it's trackable but if I were you, I'll stick with EMS (not cheap but trackable).
2. Tax excuse
3. Of course, you must reset to out-of-the-box state and send all accessories found inside along.
