Actually not as painful as you would imagine, at least not as it is done. The victim either dies of shock or smoke before the fire actually does any real damage, about 20~30 seconds.

Robbers robbed my family years back and shot at my dad, luckily the bullet missed him by few inches. If I am opportuned to catch a robber with a gun, I will be the first to arrange jungle justice for him.
