How many technology advancements have happened in Russia? What other benefits do they bring to the world currently asides from selling raw materials?

That is not what I am saying at all, my statement was just about rocket engines in general and not to support one country over the other.
I was only saying that until very recently, Russians made the best kerolox engines because they were the only ones that could make an ORSC engine. Engines made in the US were of the inferior open cycle engine, but it doesn't mean that they could not build orbital rockets based on those engines. In fact, the famous F1 engine that powered the first stage of the Saturn V rocket that sent astronaut to the moon is an open cycle gas generator engine.
The fact that an engine is less efficient and expensive does not mean that you it cannot be used to launch rocket to space, it just means that it will be expensive and less efficient to use it, hence American reliance on Russian engines.
The metallurgy for making ORSC engine has never been patented, the Russians made it a trade secret instead. As I said before, America now know how to make the metals necessary for making an ORSC cycle alloys, and SpaceX applied this knowledge to make an even more advanced and more efficient engine cycle for their Raptor engine.
I love rockets, it is something I follow, whether it is the history or the technology, i just love everything rocket. I was only trying to make you understand something i thought you might not have known from your statement i responded to.

The Russians control the main engine part of it. Yes, NASA has the largest part of it. But like 5-6 countries all combined resources. Nobody can lay claims on the ISS as theirs though.

It’s hard to explain how things work for you. But in layman’s term, America can produce the rockets and more, but for now… the Russian rocket is cheaper. SpaceX is working on reusable rockets that will be cheaper in long term considering it’s usability capabilities and will make the Russian rocket obsolete.
It’s been tested and it works, just a few weeks ago the 29 rocket based was unveils to carry the full stack.

I know this may be too much for you to comprehend but this is the best I can do for you atm.

Hmmm it's so sad to hear Russia is making this announcement about aborting the sales of rocket engine to America, but what of the ones already sold to America will they collect it back or what. Rocket engine or not what gonna be gonna be. I think using broom will even be the best cos no gas used, no exhausted pollution distroying the ozone layer. The USA doesn't need Russian jets to send astronaut's to space- the USA is the only country on earth that has a space plane capable of staying out in space for a year and being reused. A country that has such tech along with many of earth best planes do not lack such capabilities.
