I have never received one single 60 day notice since I got DQed 8 months ago!

Please what's your visa category and priority date? Are you sure your category is current on the bulletin?

You are probably not current

Oh okay that’s why. Yes my PD isn’t current yet. I thought once you get DQed and awaiting IL you get notice 60 days after DQ. Wow so people that have gotten four - five 60 days notice have been current all that time?

You should receive your interview letter within the next 4-6 months.
They issue out IL per month to to this category, the hardly combine two months together

Not really true. On Jan 17 2022, Dec-Feb DQ for F1 received their IL same time.

That's not correct. Those that were DQ Feb 2020- to early March 2020 were the only ones who received IL for the F category.
Jan 2020 and Dec 2019 DQ received theirs last year.
I belong to about 3 immigration groups, and am saying this is a fact, and not as an assumption

It's not like it's that much oh, but you see the F category is generally giving a lesser priority compared to the immediate relatives category, so there are times they combine 2 months of people that are DQ to send out interview letters for immediate relatives.
Also the Lagos embassy consulate are presently short staffed, so probably when they have more hands they might combine more than one month of people that are DQ to receive interview letters.
Re: At The NVC Processing Stage Of The U. S Family Based Preference Category. by lily156: 7:56am On Mar 08, 2022
Lol it's not a competition but I belong to more than 3 groups. Fact is - On Jan 17, I know a F1 Dec 2019 DQ got an IL letter and I know a F1 Feb 2020 DQ got a letter.
You should also know that not everyone gives an update on these groups. And no matter how many updates we read about, we're not privy to everything that goes on within the consulate.

No one said it's a competition. Stop giving false information.

They never gave out Interview letters to a compilation of 4 months DQ candidates according to you outrightly, that didn't even happen for immediate relatives which happens to be their top most priority.

Some people that were DQ in December 2019 that you said got IL in January 2022 were those that were DQ in December 2019 but just became current according to the visa bulletin. Others that were DQ in Dec 2019 and were equally current in their category according to the visa bulletin got their interview letters sometime in November last year 2021.

So it's possible for one to be DQ and not be current, in such a situation, you won't be getting an interview letter till your current.
(In other words it is possible to be DQ before being current) Infact it works in most people's favor, because compared to others which you happen to have the same priority date with, you will get your IL ahead of them, and possibly immigrate before them.
So therefore being DQ isn't the ultimate, the ultimate decider of when you get your IL is both your priority and DQ date.

I insist the interview letters sent out for the F category in January 2022 were those that were DQ in Feb 2020 till 3rd of March 2020.

You gave a false information and I had to clear the air on that.
You don't have to agree but it's just a fact.

I haven't given any wrong information. And you're preaching to the choir - I know very well that DQ does not mean that one is current.
Unless you work at the consulate, what you think is fact is not absolute.
You don't have to agree with me and it's quite a stretch to label it as false information. But I do know for a fact that a DQ Dec 2019 + current got an IL on Jan 17.
That's that. I hope everyone gets an IL letter soon.

Hopefully everyone gets theirs soon, I hope they fix the issues of being short staffed, so the backlog can reduce

Hello everyone, I’m so glad I found this platform where lots of people share their experiences.

I was DQ since July 13, 2020 and have received consistent 60 days notification which some people called pre-interview letter for about 6times....

Please I need help on how to know if priority date is current, I have not been able to get the tactics of verifying that...

Please if there is any group where I can be getting time to time update....I will be so happy to join
Thanks

This is the March 2022 visa bulletin for the final action date which is the date to check to know if one is current. For you to be current, your priority date has to be the date on the bulletin or earlier. For example, in the case of f2b, dates earlier than September 22 2015 is said to be current.

Good day guys I have been following the thread for sometime now and for now just have a question to ask. My petition was recently approved but at the time of application I was in Nigeria and filled Visa centre as Abuja. I moved to UK last year and would like to transfer the visa processing centre to UK. Please advise , if it's better to transfer to UK , how do I go about this ?

Good day,
I’m a US LPR and I filed for my husband last year march, the category is F2A. I hear people say the wait time is 2years. Is the wait time observed before uscis approval? After the approval, what happens next and how long does it take to be transferred to NVC?
Your response will be highly appreciated.
Thank you.

Is your husband in the us or Nigeria ?
If in Nigeria: after submitting form I 130 you get a priority date, so the 2 years they are talking about starts from your priority date. As of now after you have been approved by uscis,
your case will be sent to nvc and since f2a is current as at now, they will invite you to submit your supporting documents, stating what they need you to submit. After nvc has deemed your case to be documentrily complete, they will wait for lagos embassy to schedule him for interview. As at today people going through this process are spending more than 3 years on the process.
