The imminent emergence of Senator Abdullahi Adamu as the next chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC has waxed belief that President Muhammadu Buhari was not detached from the politics that played out in the days leading to the enactment of the new Electoral Act. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2022/03/the-consensus-against-tinubu/ 31 Likes 4 Shares

For those who couldn't read through, here is the summary. The article says that despite the role played by Sen. Tinubu in bringing Gen. Buhari to power, that Buhari isn't willing to reciprocate the gesture to Tinubu. How do we know? Buhari's appointment of Sen. Abdullahi as the APC chairman spells doom for Sen. Tinubu. The article says that the kingmaker has resigned himself to fate. Indeed, to the distress of some political commentators Tinubu has reduced himself, running around in a way not fitting for a kingmaker of his status. The article also says that unlike those that came before Gen. Buhari, that the general controls the utmost power in APC. There are no alternative power centres within APC. The general will always have his way. 223 Likes 15 Shares |

Absolute nonsense. APC will conduct its presidential convention and all interested aspirants will contest. That the party want to select its national chairman through consensus doesn’t mean same will apply to the presidential flag bearer. Ayu emerged as PDP national chairman through consensus but the presidential candidate will be decided through a competitive party primary. Same will happen in APC. 218 Likes 7 Shares |

They have just released the programme of events for convention that was signed by Buhari as early as February which contains the zoning formula I remember telling them that the Abdulrahman zoning committee was just a formality show to officially endorse Bumi decision on Monday. Some are celebrating that Emir of kastina endorsed someone, and masari "received" a member of his party delegation as governor. Las Las Na who the president endorse as usual APC go rally round 18 Likes 3 Shares |

Tinubu is touring Nigeria like he hasn’t done in the last 30-40 years ago. During the massacre of the west where Fulani herdsmen run free, he was only resigned to Lagos. He couldn’t issue any statement yet alone visit anyone. It is obvious the North would rather give the baton to anyone other than BAT. Let’s see how he can make them change their mind! 26 Likes |

The consensus of Nigerians to reject both him and his candidacy is what matters. We sane Nigerians that have nowhere to JAPA to reject him. It's time to regain back our country. 10 Likes 1 Share |

Another Emotional blackmail article.... This is not 2015. But under President Buhari, there are no alternative power centres within the APC. Everyone must wait for and take a cue from the body language of the president. Under Tinubu, are there alternative powers in Lagos state? Tinubu in the opinion of several persons deserves to be more than compensated by Buhari in attaining his life ambition of being president of Nigeria. Do other regions not deserve to be more than compensated in being president to create a sense of equity and justice? 11 Likes 4 Shares |

Nonsensical nonsense. A father does not take blessing from his son. Tinubu is Buhari's political father. Buhari wept on national television bitterly before the godfather of all political godfathers Bola Ahmed Tinubu came to Buhari's aid. Buhari who could not make himself President after three failed attempt definitely cannot make another person President. Tinubu just went to inform Buhari that he Tinubu will be the next President, just the same way your father tells you he is going out, it's not for your permission, it is for your information. Therefore, the lifeless terrorist hiding inside the Rock is not in a position to influence Tinubu emergence as President either positively or negatively. Buhari is too dull for that. That's why he even loses election in Abuja Municipal 23 Likes 3 Shares |

Na wa o. I I don't think Nigerians want a better Nigeria. How can we be torn into having to choose from two political parties to rule us while we have lots of others. We say things like, " I have to choose which is the lesser devil". Do you have to settle for a devil? Look beyond! You will find an angel!!!! That was how we settled for lesser devil between Gej. and PMB. To tell you the truth , ApC and PdP have nothing to offer Nigerians that they haven't offered us. Yes na. Both parties have tasted power for all we know but see where they all drove Nigeria to? Security 0 Electricity. 0 Education 0 Corruption 100 Nigerians. Wake up o. Get rid of your sentiments, tribe and religion . Do what is right. Don't wait until you die before you realise that belonging to one tribe or teligion doesn't draw you closer to God. Let's be humans first 12 Likes 3 Shares |
