Onuachu started only against Burundi because ighalo wasn’t fully fit ,how can a first choice start only one game in a tournament and the rest 3 games aren’t more than 5 minutes

Stop lying to make a point ogbeni ,if you don’t know the meaning of first choice then learn

7 games in a tournament and onuachu starting only the first game so automatically he is first choice

Be calming down with your Lies ,if I say you are talking down on him you will disagree but it’s clear here
Ighalo got injured prior to AFCON but he was fully fit before the Burundi match. He even played part I'm the friendlies .
So because I am not singing the praises of Onuachu to high heavens means I'm talking down on him? This tactic is outdated man.

Okay then, let’s wait and see whether Dennis will start ahead of either Osihmen or Ighalo.

Trust me, our strikers against Ghana are going to be Osihmen and Ighalo. Dennis will start on the bench.

O pari

Dennis is a winger ... He is not competing with Ighalo and Osimehn.

You don’t need to sing praises

After onuachu started the game against Burundi playing 70 + minutes which other game did you see him start ?

Wait Iwobi is not there, na u even make me know.
Is he injured?

Iwobi was on the bench yesterday for Everton, so my cannot be Injured.

I really don't know, but is there a possibility that his red card got him suspended ftom the game.

The guy just dey evolve quietly and smoothly. Better Midfielder! New Team after the WC. He need leave that fox hole.

If your team is not performing then that also means the players. We may think Ndidi is world class but nobody else who matter's thinks so.

He really has to up his game , if he wants to get a bigger move.

Osimhen didn’t fight to any last, players like Sarr did. Go read up on Sarr’s story and see how much he fought to be at AFCON.

Dennis is not a striker, he is a winger who can play anywhere on the front three. Why are you building a strawman argument? By the way, Ighalo can’t play on the wings and Osimhen hasn’t played there in a long time, so Dennis trumps both there.

Dennis is a modern day forward player.

He has the modern day skill set required to be a top forward player, just like Mane, Salah, Sterling, etc, that's adaptable and versatile.

On form the best player is Dennis.

Yes, he still needs time to break into the team. Maybe they don't have quality players in mukairu's position. Anyhow sha

Una don start. Na so una scream, " Na Tunisia" and they tactically fvcked us up..

Oga, there are no minnows in football and the ghanaians are our rivals. Playing against old rivals is always tricky.

If we nor prepare well, dem go fvck us up. DrDoom3 has said it all. It's gonna be a battle of the midfield..

I truly hope you guys know who we are playing against. Ghana is a midfield heavy team. If they lock up the middle we are screwed. What happens if God forbid Ndidi or Onyeka gets injured?
And i repeat THERE IS NO MIDFIELD BATTLE. Osimhen is coming.

He is listing players based on current form.. Why did he exclude Ighalo..

His mission is to make a case for Awoniyi to have made the list ahead of Ighalo...

Based on current form, Sadiq deserve the call up.. Blame all those who orchestrated Ighalo return to the team..

On current form and in past performance Onuachu trump's Sadiq Umar.

They are not on the same level.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by komekn(m): 8:38am On Mar 05, 2022
They hypocrisy and double standard of the NFF selection is prettyuch obvious.

But I think it's just the organisational culture, a preference anchored on past U17 youthful glories not current performance and progression in the senior professional game.

We are inviting old and retired legs from the second tier ( retirement league) of Turkey, that's not progression.

There are at least 20 Nigerian quality origin players playing from in the EPL and Championship that should have been considered.

Amoo is untried, untested and unproven to be called to the SE. He is not even first choice in his Copenhagen FC club, he is struggling to get games and even get on the bench. It is doesn't make sense for such a crucial game with Ghana.

Because he couldn't impress. If your first choice striker played 70 mins with nothing to show for it and then the next striker came in and scored 4 minutes later, you start the one who scored at the last match. You know why? Because it's a tourney, no time for experiment. Why didn't Onuachu replaced Ighalo against Tunisia then instead of Osimehn?

That's probably our best team to face Ghana, l am inclined to agree with you.

The 3-5 -2 formation may be out best approach as well.
