The national leader of the ruling party, APC and the leading contender for the Presidential election in 2023, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu has not hidden his ambition to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari. He has been traversing and doing a lot of consultations with a broad spectrum of Nigerians.

He kicked off his campaign train from south west, his base and has been meeting traditional rulers and notably some political gladiators to secure the ticket of his party.

In one of his campaign engagements, he called himself a youth while addressing his supporters. This disclosure has been generating a lot of reactions from Nigerians moreso when his real age has been a subject of controversy. Tinubu officially is 69 years old but many find this age not to be true.

However, Tinubu has been showing some signs that all is not well with his health.

In this edited video, Tinubu’s hands were seen shaking while addressing his supporters.

Is Tinubu suffering from a nervous related disease like Parkinson?

Parkinson’s disease is a brain disorder that leads to shaking, stiffness, and difficulty with walking, balance, and coordination. Parkinson’s symptoms usually begin gradually and get worse over time. As the disease progresses, people may have difficulty walking and talking.

Some of the symptoms of Parkinson disease are:

A tremor or shaking of fingers, hands or limbs

Slowed movement

Slurred or impaired speech

Impaired posture and balancing.

Asiwaju Tinubu has shown some of these signs in recent times.

There should be a proper evaluation of Tinubu’s medical current and mental state so that the nation will not be thrown into confusion again like the sad demise of President Umaru Yar’adua. Late Yar’dua showed early signs of human frailty during the campaigns of 2007 Presidential election that later brought him to power.
