This took place when the statue of Caesar was placed in all the Holy Temples in Israel to be worshipped.

Matthew 24:16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
Judea was destroyed around 67 AD and the Temple in Jerusalem around 70 AD by the Romans occupying Israel at that time and that was the generation Jesus was referring to and Jesus said in Matthew 24:22 “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.

Matthew 24:29 “Immediately after the distress of those days"
Matthew 24:30 “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.
31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

So these are proof that the 2nd coming has already taken place around 2000 years ago.

Why are people so deceitful about this 2nd coming that has already taken place?

What we should be expecting now is the 3rd coming of Jesus Christ.

Wrong! T If you look closely at Matthew 24 which you quoted from you will find that instead the verse you reference answers a different question that was first asked Jesus by His disciples. The apostles asked Jesus Christ 2 different questions and the responses for both are found in that same context.

1 Jesus left the Temple area and was walking away. But his followers came to him to show him the Temple’s buildings.
2 He asked them, “Are you looking at these buildings? The fact is, they will be destroyed. Every stone will be thrown down to the ground. Not one stone will be left on another.”
3 Later, Jesus was sitting at a place on the Mount of Olives. The followers came to be alone with him. They said, “■ Tell us when these things will happen. ■ And what will happen to prepare us for your coming and the end of time?”
4 Jesus answered, “Be careful! Don’t let anyone fool you.
5 Many people will come and use my name. They will say, ‘I am the Messiah.’ And they will fool many people.
6 You will hear about wars that are being fought. And you will hear stories about other wars beginning. But don’t be afraid. These things must happen before the end comes.

From verse 3 through verse 29, Jesus Christ carefully responds to the first question asked of Him by His followers regarding the end of the days, the final days of the temple in Jerusalem — the end of God's judgment against the Nation of Israel which began over 500 years before that point in time. All this took place over 1900 years ago.

Verses 30-35 contains His response to the second question regarding His coming and the end of time.
