The Ukrainian Air force were trained on Russian made fighter jets, Poland has a lot of them.

Poland will hand over their jets to Ukraine and they will get replacements from the West.

This war is just going to be protracted and Putin will leave with a bloody nose and a junk economy to return to.

He will threaten to nuke everybody but in the end he will just be assassinated while his country begs for the sanctions to be lifted.

Russia will have fully militarized neighbors in Sweden, Finland and the other Nordic states that haven't joined NATO and neutral becoming members. Their fear is that they could be the next Ukraine.

That is the trajectory of this war. Putin played his card too early. He had control and should just have threatened, not go on a full fledged war.

Hehehehehehehe... Russia is making more money now than ever before. Did you check the price of crude?

If this conflict continues we could see Brent crude at $150. And sanctioning of Russian oil companies can push it to $200. Can the world live with that?

If only you understood world politics. The US and NATO can't send troops directly to Ukraine, otherwise the unhinged bastard Putin would start a nuclear war, and no one wants that. But Putin can't stop them from sending weapons. Also, Russia INVADED Ukraine, where else did you think the slaughter would take place? In Cotonou?? Ukraine became a slaughter house the moment Russia stepped foot in it.

No, he is looking for a way NATO doesn't join the war, he is using threats his biggest weapon, he can't maintain a war from several fronts, his commanders know it, problem is he should have continued using threats to get commitments from NATO, he shouldn't have invaded Ukraine.

Ukraine was still at least half a decade away from joining EU let alone NATO.

Putin also knew the implications of NATO involving in this mess cos it means Russians are not also save

The win is relatively compared
On a good day Ukraine suppose fall under 48 hrs to Russia.

But any added day / delay to Ukraine falling is a win to Ukraine.

Imagine america invading Nigeria and still cannot capture Abuja in 2 weeks despite intense fight....that's a win to Nigeria according to war college veterans.

At the emboldened, Russia already invaded Ukraine.

Kyiv is the capital of Ukraine and last I checked, Kyiv is 100% in the hands of Ukraine. Zelensky, as a matter of fact is in Ukraine and so far, Russia has not captured any of Ukraine's regional cities but you created a sharp contrast using Cameroon, Nigeria and Abuja.

So 'denazification' led to Russia invading Ukraine? I'll be damned!

How is Ukraine not winning when its capital and regional cities are still in their hands and when their enemy is supposedly bigger and larger?

If you clearly understood what's going on, you wouldn't be asking me that! Ukraine might be currently a death zone, but by the time this is over, Russia would be completely unlivable. It's citizens would suffer immense economic hardships, there might be riots and insurrection. All because Putin couldn't mind his business! Capturing a country is one thing, maintaining a hold over the country is a different ballgame, and despite tonnes of military hardware and manpower, capturing Ukraine is still difficult for them.

UKRAINE HAS KILLED OVER 9 THOUSANDS RUSSIAN SOLDIERS AND MANY OF THEIR MILITARY EQUIPMENTS ,YET UKRAINE IS STILL STANDING TALL. YOU THINK WAR IS A TEA PARTY? No they can't repel the invasion by virtue of their military might but they can prolong it, Russia would succeed initially in taking the cities but the fighting will be very prolonged after that.

This is a people that don't want to be invaded, they have the motivation, the vast majority support the central Govt, that is where Russia got it wrong.


So what is the value in prolonged death, just to prove you can be friends with the enemy of Russia, all at the expense of your infrastructure, economy, peace, population? If your friend cannot help you defeat Russia, then you are just being stupid and should have stayed neutral ab initio.
