So what happened to Ifeanyi Ubas' multi-million dollar fortune that he's owing the Catholic Church 200 million naira? While he spends his time being Senator in Abuja, one doesn't even hear of his Capital oil and gas anymore. I feel his fortunes nosedived with the coming of Buhari and APC in 2015. 4 Likes |

ebufa: Now you mention it, i seem to remember the issue between him and AMCON a few years back. So basically, dude is somewhat broke now? So sad really. I wonder if AMCON tried to reach some kind of payment plan with him to offset any debt he had, or were they just interested in seizing his business to ruin him financially. 2 Likes |

ChiefOtunist: But APC is governing two Igbo states namely Imo and Ebonyi. So SE deserves the presidency. No party controls more state in the SE than APC. That definitely does make the SE deserve the APC presidential ticket. |

OfoIgbo: Look for something else to tell us. The Yorubas living in ekiti through ondo to Ogun to lagos- Ibadan are hundreds of Yorubas who the Fulanis didn't exile Stop crying over APC ticket, let those who played their politics well without stupid rhetorics enjoy the fruit of their stupidity since ontop their stupidity Fulani has never taken over their lands and security situations in their states calm. While in your wisdom the security situation in east is nothing to write home about. If APC zones their presidential ticket to west let it be afterall Fulani will now give them presidential ticket to fully takeover their lands. Listening to so much rubbish from the idiot Nnamdi kanu has rendered SE politically irrelevant. Moreover how many votes will SE give in 2023 when the terrorists will intimidate people with no voting but referendum and at the end you can't even present upto 500k votes to millions that will be coming from other zones. 1 Like |

OfoIgbo: Akiko mama Ngozi Hope Uzodimma won through distinct hardwork and through court blessed by God.. Umahi won under pdp before decamping to APC...a new entrant that wants ticket. You guys should go to PDP and ask for presidential ticket or even let APGA present a presidential candidate so that we can vote for a non Fulani janja---weed who will not sale us to Hausa Fulani. But allow those who have sold themselves to Hausa fulani to enjoy their slavery of presidential ticket. |

ChiefOtunist: I believe the Igbos interested in the presidency are asking for Igbos to be chosen as the presidential candidates of all the major parties, just the same way Yorubas were also given the ANPP presidential candidacy, even though it was won by Ogbonnaya Onu. Their request is very fair. |
Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by OfoIgbo: 12:44pm On Mar 08, 2022 |
Osagyefo98: Just as Yorubas were rewarded with the ANPP presidential ticket in 1999, even without Yorubas being in the party, so also are Igbos who are interested in the presidency, asking for that favour to be returned in 2023 by Yorubas. Every major party has to chose an Igbo presidential candidate, as was done by the Igbos, who stood down for Yorubas in 1999 in ANPP, after Obasanjo had already won the PDP presidential ticket. |

ChiefOtunist: Dude, if you have nothing sensible to say then keep schtum! Jeez!….This thread is just crawling with all these so called ‘Igbo’ that argue like the Fulani and Yoruba who dread the prospect of a Igbo becoming president! I mean…just what kind of ‘sabi to play politics’ are you on about!? Facts are sacred, and they tell us there were Igbo present at the formation of all political parties of national relevance; both parties of national relevance today have a presence in the south-east; Igbos’ like Muoghalu, Anyim, Okorocha and Amaechi are making their intentions known just as much as politicians from the south-west and core-north are doing; Igbo have asked nicely to have the presidency zoned to the region; Igbo have threatened just like the muslim core-north did before presidency was handed to them in 2015! So just what have others who ‘know how to play politics’ done that Igbo who naively still have faith in your Nigeria not done for you to mischievously posit they don’t know how to play politics!? Another fact is that you lot just love moving the goalposts when it comes to Ndigbo…with all sorts of requirements and expectations that don’t apply when it comes to the other two major ethnic groups! Ndigbo just can’t win with some of you lot….they’re damned if they do and damned if they don’t, so why bother!? 3 Likes |

ChiefOtunist: Power was given to the Yorubas in 1999, they did not take it. It was the reigning junta that brought Obasanjo were he was rotting in jail to dust him up and wangle him to the presidency. The ANPP allowed the candidate of a smaller party to become the presidential candidate of the union between AD and ANPP, to ensure Yorubas were the candidates of the only two parties at that particular time. Igbos that are interested in the presidency are also asking for that consideration. Ogbonnaya Onu, who is a bonafide Igboman sacrificed his own ambitions, and made way for a candidate from a smaller party. 4 Likes |
