He has that ability to easily trend in the social media space which has a way of bringing him money, either by way of popularizing his songs or shows. If you want to look at the business side of music, Wizkid doesn't come close to Davido. His ‘son of Mercy’ EP was released through Sony in 2016. And that was the same project that made him leave Sony because he said it was his worst project ever because Sony were trying to make him sound more like a reggae artist to market him in America.

It was after that he relocated back to Nigeria to continue producing his own music.
