You might be able to find some science-fiction-y books on Okadabooks. I don't read the genre and can't recommend any but you may find a gem there.

Ooh, I'm recalling a particular writer...Tochi somebody. I think he writes Sci-fi. His book was listed for an award somewhere.

There are, maybe not many, but they do exist.

It's so sad that you can easily download an American wild western books written in 1920s but can't find a single site to download African books written 50 years latter.
