When a 50 year old got his/her PPR recently, what's in 34?

This is not Express entry were age counts against you..

Put up a tight and convincing study permit application and see your PPR drop on your hands..

Hi there,

I want to study in Canada, am 34 do I still have a chance?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by makano: 12:24am On Mar 09, 2022
Hello Benwerms

Canada study application is strictly an online process, which means your passport will be with you until IRCC request for your Passport for Visa Stamping..

It was in the era of paper application in the past years, that they withhold your passport until you get a final decision on your application.

Peace
Benwems:
Please, does Canada withhold passport during visa application period ?

Any response on this will be truly appreciated.

If I’m sponsoring myself. I incorporated my company in February 2022.
Open company bank account March 5, 2020. I’m the managing director of my company.
11million in the company account.
School starts September.
PGcert: mech engineering (same field with my company and my bachelors)

Two travel history. Last year and this year

What are my chances? Would it raise a red flag that I registered my company this year and my company bank account will not be up to six months when I apply ?

Got it.

How many years will Pg cert be?

Also, I intend to set up my bussiness in Canada after school and also bring my family to Canada. Can that be achievable with PG cert?
Good

There is a 1yr PG.CERT program, & there is 2 yrs PG.Cert program.

A 1 year program after graduation gives you 1 year PGWP, 2 yrs Program offers gives you 2-3 years PGWP.

PGWP means - Post Graduate Work Permit

To your other questions, await the response of the gurus or other members on the that

Hi,

His visa may not be ready before you travel.

I think what you should consider is: if his visa is not ready before you travel, can you leave him behind or not?

If you can leave him behind, then I will advise you wait. If you can't, then you can apply for him now. But you will have to convincingly explain why you changed your mind (through webform and his LOE), because you have earlier mentioned that he is not accompanying you (I assume).

Also, even if your visa is approved tomorrow and you want to apply for him immediately after, you still have to convince the VO about why you are applying immediately since you had mentioned he is not accompanying you.

Drops:
Please I need some advice. I applied for study visa in December, eligibility review started Jan 31 but nothing yet after that. I want to go with my son but I was waiting for the study visa before applying for him. School starts in May and I am afraid I may not have time to apply for him and get the visa by beginning of May. Do you advice that I apply for him now or still wait till my study visa arrives before applying for him?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Scott99tish(m): 3:14am On Mar 09, 2022
Leave that for IOM.
They will.

The beauty is you did your medical within slated period. Once you finish, a slip will be given to you. You will send it via webform and mail same day too…
So just proceed to have your medical first.

Regards.
BellefilleOma:
Thanks so much for this reply, I was so scared but the issue is that will IOM send the results on time after my medicals. How long will it take for results to come out?

Also, Pls could u explain how Feb 10th(that's last month) is still within 30 days.

I don’t know if this swap swap of medical works ooo. I do see post and wonder how it works…

Best way is to go there in person. If you’ve booked a day, good for you. Just take your Nollywood skill there. There’s always a session for those with issues. Give them better story that you yourself can believe, I promise they will give you a very close day.

I did same with my upfront medical in first application and I got a new date within 2 days interval.

IOM is 90% UK application. So they have high preferential treat for Canada.
For Qlife, I don’t know the percentage but take your nollywood shoe there and you can get something out of your story.

Regards.

Thanks for your kind consideration in advance

Hmmm! That is the issue. Thank you very much. I do appreciate your contributions

Toceen2022:

I understand this is a very difficult situation for you. But you just have to decide and choose what you think is best for you and what you may consider as less difficult option.
The question you should ask yourself is,

* which one of the 2 options you can forgo, and that will give you great opportunity in Canada.

* how willing are you to go through the visa application process again, and what are your chances of getting approved, compare to the huge amount you've paid, which one can you let go. (Because you'll have a lot of explanation to do on why you rejected the first approval to go to another school)

Personally, if I have the money, at this point I'll let go of Fanshawe, and stick to Nova Scotia. If not for any reason, it'll be because of the new Atlantic Program Pathway

For me I was changing career totally. My BSc was in Biochemistry but my diploma is in Business administration. I had worked in a bank here in Nigeria so it was my major point of driving home the point of a change in career… also had a vocational training in a fashion Designing. So the diploma is to help me out to set up my business… and I gave reasons why studying in Nigeria wasn’t beneficial to me… mentioned my home ties and my intentions back home when I’m done with the diploma

Can i email you?

I also studied BCH which school did you get admission to?

Is it pgcert or pgdiploma?

I sent some M.P's in Ontario email and 3 of them replied requesting for the same thing from me; address, phone number, postal code and a valid government I.D for them to make inquiry about my application to IRCC on my behalf.
What i'm confused about is if the details they're asking for are Canadian details or my Nigerian details cos i'm still in Nigeria o.

If the program has a September (fall) intake then I think it's better you submit your application now . I know of 2 people who have gotten their letter of acceptance into Conestoga college for September 2022 intake since February .

The sad truth 8s if you give them the address outside Nigeria, their generic response will be they can't help. And you can't provide address in canada as its not sane as what you submitted. It's complicated.

He's asking for your Canadian address. The main reason is to determine whether you're a member of his constituency. If you don't live in his constituency, he'll *likely* politely turn turn you down.
