The day I saw my dad revived a baby dying from force feeding after everyone had given up and the whole family were crying already, was the day I fully understood the common saying that knowledge is power. Before then, I always took it as a sweet quote that most schools preferred to use as their motto. He just used a simple technique and under 5 minutes, the baby whose eyes were already pale came back to life.
Even though I was much younger when this thing happened, I still realised that life is just like a pendulum bob held by a thread, and it just takes one swing to find yourself on the other side.
Till today, I keep wondering what would have been the fate of that baby if my dad spent 30 minutes more where he went for a condolence visit because all the family members who helped rush the baby to our house were more interested in crying probably because they had no idea what to do.

In as much as I condemn police brutality in any form, the height in which Nigerians have taken their criticism for police to is almost becoming hate already.

The same story you shared Happened, years before I gain admission only for the late child parent to be pouring water on the baby and hitting the baby so hard so as to bring life back to the late baby.

If I had known what CPR means, the late baby will still be alive today, probably be an engineer or doctor by now.
Knowledge is power truly.

Read what I said again... You don't use CPR for a baby dying as a result of force feeding o. I think what my dad did was to hold the baby up side down and hit the baby's back moderately. If the baby is lucky enough then it will jerk and vomit through nose and mouth and eventually come back to life.
CPR is mostly used for cardiac arrest and heart attack...

First, thanks for drawing my attention. It was a terrible mistake, but I would like you to know that it wasn't actually out of ignorance. I probably use the phrase "sense of humor" too frequently that I didn't even noticed when I selected it from my keyboard prediction bar and didn't check the context I was using it. Check through my profile and previous writings and you might be convinced I shouldn't be that daft ...
