Good evening people

If one use my bank statement as SOA, will the code give the VO to check your account regardless of the months you want to present?

Speaking from an ex banker perspective, the answer is no. But I also had to ask some current bankers about this last week in case things have changed since I left the system and the answer was also no. They only have access to period you specify on your SOA.

If anyone has a contrary view, experience, I stand to be corrected. The GURUs may have something to add also.

I be newbie here too grin

Hi Lekiboboe,
I have gone through the suggested threads. For the Affidavit of Support, it says passport photograph should be attached for the sponsor and applicant. Did i get that right? or just the typed affidavit would suffice?

Guys, what does it mean for IRCC to request for a "Parent Authorisation to Travel" from the other parent? It is in respect of a Visitor Visa for a minor who is accompanying mum on study permit? Does it signify that PPR is on the way?

I'm really sorry bro, you already know what to do.

Order for your GCMS notes so you can get the root cause of the rejection. Then we can all join heads to help you in your reapplication.

Please don't give up. You're almost there.

Hello people

I will be flying on first of April and my class will be starting on 1st of May. Registration for classes for spring/summer semesters will be starting on 28th of this month. Please can I still get my entrollment letter within this time frame from University of Regina since is one of the documents required to board plane.

Those that got entrollment letter how did you do it without registering for classes?

Or what should I do

Enrolment letter is no longer a requirement for boarding plane. The covid restriction has been lifted and you can now travel for discretionary purpose once you have your visa

I used GTB for my tuition deposit through flywire and it took more than 1 month to get to my school.
I would advice u to look for a less busier/popular bank that uses form A for payment abroad or if you can wait for GTBank it's up to you.

All the best.

I think I have given my 2kobo on this already.

For the bolded, it makes a world of business because you are expected to explain the reasons why a company is sponsoring you. You have to demonstrate the reasons with proofs.

Is the company owned by you?

The company belongs to my mother.

Please those that have paid tuition using form A lately, I saw some people mentioned that they got debited at almost around the same rates as black market instead of cbn rate.

Is this the same experience for everyone else?

To be sure that the Father is aware and agrees with the mum to travel with the Child. I think it is a positive sign regarding the final outcome of the study permit application.

Hello fogechi

Account cant stand as home ties though. You even mentioned its inactive, I wont advise you include it though..

The bolded are majorly the home ties, if you have assets and also valuable properties, they can also be included..

Peace

Thank you again.

my wife earns about 100k and we have 4 kids. should i attach her fixed deposit of 2m to show she has money to take care of the kids while am away or should i credit her account with it. i intend to apply next month

They only have access to the what you present to them.. i.e they can't check your statement of account outside the duration you submit to them..

When did you get this offer? I am expecting LOA from CNA as well

Not necessary buy advisable to be from your sponsor's account. You can attach the telex as part of document to submit. I think this does not affect your application in any way.

toller:
Hello everyone.
I'm in a dilemma and I need all the help that I can get.
I recently got LOA from the college of north Atlantic and was asked to make an initial deposit.
My question is; When making payment for the "tuition for the first semester and the confirmation fee" does it necessarily have to be from the sponsor's account?
Could this have any negative effect on my application?

Secondly, does it make any difference if I use a cooperate account for my POF?

Hello fogechi

Obviously, you will need to tender documents to show that your wife earns enough to take care of herself and the kids while you will be away in Canada.. But make sure you also let the Visa officer know that this is actually an alternative to the amount you would be sending every month or the amount you will set aside for at least a year for their living expenses here in Canada

Do not let your application give the Visa officer the impression that your wife will solely depend on her income all through your stay in Canada, its not a good move..

Peace

Really, how is that possible?. I used Access but I had someone who followed for me with office in charge in Lagos for my Form A to get queued for debit. From what I saw the rate was about N339 to 1CAD or N419 to $1.

A friend used Stanbic and was debited in a week. Rate was N336 to 1CAD about two weeks again.

The bigger banks has more FX(Forex) requests than their allocation from CBN and this is a primary cause for delays.
