Excuses upon excuses. Isn't that the reason you took up the job to provide solutions rather that keep given excuses?
If you can't do your job simply step down and let competent people who have the well with all step in.
You will have to import foreigners, for us Nigerian Jews, no honor amongst thieves, the products of systematic corruption.

President Buhari you have tried, you can’t change these corrupt minded people, even Moses tried, yet they refused to change, they must worship the golden calf?

Ordinary refine crude oil they no fit, 110 million people? What of electricity they cannot provide for themselves, no innovation? Oyibo man must do it for them?

"Sylva in a statement by his media aide, Horatius Egua, said “the rate at which investments were taken away was too fast. Lack of investment in the oil and gas sector contributed to Nigeria’s inability to meet OPEC quota. We are not able to get the needed investments to develop the sector and that affected us”.

Did minister Sylva conduct a thorough investigation about why Nigeria cannot meet OPEC oil production quota?
I don't think so, and here is why:
looting of oil by Nigerians at the point of production is the real reason Nigeria cannot meet OPEC allocated quota. Some Nigerian oils workers along with foreign oils workers team up to steal oils during shipment to overseas. After the oils are shipped overseas, Nigerian oil workers, travel to overseas countries to get their share of the loots. That is the true reason why Nigeria would never meet OPEC required quota.

I know minister Sylva knows about this kind of activities, but he does not want to dig into it for fear he might lose his job. He is from South/South geopolitical--which is the heart of Nigeria oil production. The bottom line is, minister Sylva looks bad by putting out this false information.

The minister of petroleum is outside the country on endless medical tourism.

Inflation is eating up every possible disposable income of Nigerians.

If we are a serious country, that man should have been impeached by the national assembly before he even gets back home.

Which time in your history were you able to meet OPEC’s quota?

Name the President? You think by blaming President Buhari exonerates your Father or grandfather from been part of Nigeria’s problem?

Nigerians always looking for a scapegoat, it is always someone else, never us?
You have no point. In my business, I take responsibility for my actions. When it comes to the Nigerian economy, we have an elected government. Why would you be angry with anyone blaming the president?
And since you don't know anything about oil production in Nigeria, let me tell you. a few years back We use to produce up to 2.2 mbd

Speaking at the ongoing Ceraweek, in Houston, Texas, the Minister of State Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Sylva said the speed with which international oil companies and other investors were withdrawing investments in hydrocarbon exploitation has contributed significantly to Nigeria’s inability to meet OPEC targets.

Sylva in a statement by his media aide, Horatius Egua, said “the rate at which investments were taken away was too fast. Lack of investment in the oil and gas sector contributed to Nigeria’s inability to meet OPEC quota. We are not able to get the needed investments to develop the sector and that affected us”

No one will invest in unstable economy run by the likes of buhari angry angry angry grin grin
I still can't believe this administration lost over 20 billion worth of investment in that sector. They are mixing politics with business.

They don't understand anything. Reason Nigeria economy is none existing now, because we are oil driving one. What surprises me are the kind of dull head supporting the negative impact of FG, raising royalties and taxes when they have not paid their counterpart funding of JVs. There by stalling many FDI. Now nobody is even thinking of new investment, the environment is too toxic grin grin

Story! Just tell us the truth. You are slowing production to bid up the price and benefit from the Russia-Ukraine war. Shikena. US is now is a fix all thanks to Biden's green new deal and high energy demand, so OPEC purposely underproduces so that they can, as a cartel, bid up the price and make billions upon billions of dollars. No wonder Tinubu wants to die as a president!

At times you just have to keep quiet instead of embarrassing yourself due to ignorance. Google is there for everyone to use but some lazy youths won't. Had those investors not withdrawn due to security challenges and bad economy, we'd have done more than 1.8m/barrel because we had surpassed that in the past.

Nigeria naira didn't just suffer this way, investors had taken back their dollar and invented elsewhere. Seplat, an indigenous oil company even wanted to buy some of the stakes left behind by one of those oil companies but politics is halting the move

After all the blabbing you still ended up saying same thing as the inept Sylva... I guess its Iwaeda's fault that we're having a terrible economy and security issues since your mannequin came on board... Smh
