jl115:I think you lack enough IQ to see the obvious. Zimbabwe, Congo republic, Cameroon and other shitholes have been classified as non LCD while TZ is placed in LCD by that fake map drawn by someone sitting probably in New york. But can you say those shitholes are anywhere better than the might United republic as far as life in General is concerned? Are those people anywhere better than TZ folks? Even u, knows for sure that, anyone who is starving to death can't be better than the one with a full belly 1 Like |

India has surpassed Nigeria as the nation with the highest number of extremely poor people. The World Poverty Clock, WPC, said this in its recent update, considering the COVID-19 pandemic economic effect. The World Poverty Clock is an online tool that monitors the progress against poverty globally and regionally and provides real-time poverty data across countries. According to its data, extremely poor people are those living on N800 per day (less than $2 per day). In 2018, Nigeria held the position with about 87 million people in extreme poverty, compared with India's 73 million. According to the new data, about 83 million Indians have been plunged into extreme poverty in 2022, representing six per cent of the country's population which stands at 1.3 billion. For Nigeria, WPC said 70 million people are living in extreme poverty, representing 33 per cent of Nigeria's over 200 million people. In 2020, the National Bureau of Statistics, NBS, said more than 80 million Nigerians live in extreme poverty (on a dollar per day). https://allafrica.com/stories/202203100153.html |

Nigeria Exits International Maritime Bureau's Piracy List As Sao Tome, Others Now Lead Sao Tome and Principe, Gabon , Benin and four other African countries led the sailors kidnap chart of the International Maritime Bureau, IMB, in 2021, an indication that Nigeria may have eliminated the menace of piracy in its waters. In the latest IMB report, a total of 15 crewmen were kidnapped 98 Nautical Miles in Sao Tome Islands on the 23rd of January 2021 as against another 15 sailors Gabon on the eight of February and on the 11th of March, 10 crew members were kidnapped in Benin Republic. Coming in third position is Equatorial Guinea with a total of six kidnapped crewmembers from a container vessel while a second attack on fishing vessel also took place in Benin on the 31st of May and six crewmen were also kidnapped in the process. A breakdown of the figure shows that a total of three fishing vessels, two container vessels and a chemical tanker were also attacked. Nigeria recorded no kidnapping incidents in 2021 with the total number of incidents in its waters dropping more than 80 per cent compared to 2020. Luanda Anchorage, Angola, and Conakry Anchorage, Guinea, featured in the IMB Piracy Reporting Centre (PRC) list of "Ports and anchorages with three or more reported incidents in 2021". That trend may be continuing into 2022 as the IMB PRC reported three armed robbery incidents from Luanda Anchorage during the first six weeks of 2022. https://allafrica.com/stories/202203030192.html |

Kuruptnigga:My bro, you're wasting your energy. Abuja and Lagos combined can't match Nairobi - on streets. Abuja, your capital city, can't match Mombasa. Meanwhile, enjoy the view of Kisumu... When you're done, I will drop another breathtaking street of Kakamega town. I want to show you how this analogy doesn't work, especially on wits like me.

NTSA: Unfortunately, people here don't think. It's better for them you lack a pedestrian lane in the CBD but have it in the residential areas, smh!. |

Kazikazi:Bongo man, ignorance and stupidity is the worst hodgepodge of dimwittedness. City flex is all about utilities like roads, bridges, skyscrapers, parks, etc. Tz electric train is there in your miasma of fantasy. How many interchanges do you have? Those are the things that make a city. I belive TZ has none. Do you have any elevated roads in your republic? Or you can only brag of bridges, because you sit on the sea? Mombasa has all those. You have normal Brt while Nairobi is building gold BRT. Know your lanes, man. How many skyscrapers do you have? Like 30+ fls? Do you have any Malls in any of your cities close to the garden city and business bay? Talk less of two rivers. |

Just40: Wow! Interesting. I didn't know a dwarf country has more billionaires than Kenya. Africa’s ‘Big 5’ wealth markets are South Africa, Egypt, Nigeria, Morocco, and Kenya. Mauritians are the wealthiest individuals in Africa, followed by South Africans, based on wealth per capita.
