Those loan apps are criminals and they shouldn't be allowed to operate in our space. They are mostly Chinese and Lebanese companies who doesn't care about privacy invasion. Defamation and blackmail isn't a good strategy for loan recovery

Whenever there is a problem in Nigeria you people resort to blaming Lebanese.

No power - Lebanese.

Corrupt government - Lebanese.

Crooked churches - na Lebanese they fund am, dey collect tithes.

You people are crazy.

I've seen some of the names behind these stupid companies, they are not Lebanese.

Don't take loan u can't pay back

This is a simplistic response. Defaults on loans are a fact of life everywhere in the world. The response to such defaults needs to be proper, not criminal.

Sad development for the lenders and the borrowers. The federal government should have found a way to regulate the sector, instead of forcing them to close shops.

You won’t believe some fools are happy about it, they lack knowledge. Government shouldn’t force close them leaving the users it’s no other alternatives, greedy government, why force, when you can hijack it and run same company for two years to each them how it works. I swear good governance is very easy, it’s just have to be practical and physical

Obey Nigerian laws and policies if you want to be a money lender

Nothing wrong in taking loans. Money lenders can't override Nigerian laws and policies and replace them with theirs.

Hmmm.... has anyone been arrested and charged? ... couldn't be they just found laptops in unoccupied buildings. Why don't they make loans available to the many people struggling due to the pandemic? On loan sharkers.... people know what they are getting into... agree to the conditions and be complaining after. That's not right either.

Nigerians & indiscipline. SMH
A lot of people are very happy about this development. These companies offer their services to help in times of emergency yet people intentionally collect loans when they know they won't pay back. If people paid back loans then they won't have had to use drastic measures to get it back. Some will borrow money from you & will not pay back at the agreed time. Here in the west, you can't try that sh*t. You go pay the money with interest complete. No be credit history? e go always wait for you for front.
It amazes me that as the Government builds, yet people vandalise. Speaks alot about we as a people. Then we complain that the country is toxic. When the loan guys close down, next time when you need urgent 5k, please go & meet the government you're complaining to. Yeye dey smell.
